Omg! Your food is absolutely amazing and believe me I will be back it’s a lil far from where I live but I will make the drive…. I got the brown stewed chicken with white rice and cabbage and it was delicious… the service was excellent the young lady who served us was really nice and the man also… will definitely be back and thank you again for the amazing food…. 5 stars all day!!!!????
The jerk chicken is authentic and made with love. The meat come right of the bone and oxtail sauce just adds to the greatness. The staff are welcoming. It’s good to my people keeping true to the roots. ??????
I really wanted to like and support this place. I was so happy and eager to try the food. But I quickly regretted it upon arriving there. I brought a large oxtail dinner from here but I didn't have an appetite to eat it once I left the store. The cashier that they have taking the orders is bad for business. She is ghetto and ignorant. She rushes the customers when taking their order and she is blatantly rude. She definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and I lost my appetite. I would NOT recommend this place as there are other Carribean restaurants in Charleston with both better food and service. Can we start a campaign to get rid of Cashier Keya lol? Maybe then the food would be worth the time and money?
Delightful experience. Got the jerk chicken and curry goat, rice and beans, cabbage, plantains and coco bread. So delicious.
I got here atlease 2wice month they food is delicious an very reasonable...Thanks
Delicious and satisfying meal for your soul that you can pickup in a hurry. This place is a gem. You'll have the same wait and similar price point as a fast food place without it being processed junk. I absolutely love the oxtails so that's what I order most often but I've tried other dishes too (jerk pork and brown stew chicken are my others go-tos) so you honestly can't go wrong. Every single thing I've eaten here is well-seasoned and tastes like it was made with love.
I had red snapper, brown stewed oxtails, curry goat, rice and beans , plantains, beef patties and coco bread and washed down with a ginger beer. Absolutely beautiful people and wonderful experience. Needless to say I had the itis ? and it was worth every bit of it! I will be coming through each time I’m in Charleston. Top 5 places to eat period!!! I didn’t think to take pictures before my daughter and I got started but here are a couple.
Very fast, very friendly service. The jerk chicken and oxtail is my favorite. A must see spot in South Carolina!
We had the chance to stop by and to check this place out, our first day in town.Glad we did!Great food, authentic Jamaican food, Great vibes, friendly staff, clean environment.Highly recommends this place!! ????✊?✊?SUPPORT BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES
The Snapper was excellent! I love the food! Very authentic!! I would have given 5 stars, but they repeatedly ignore the request to separate orders. That is time-consuming for someone that has driven from Calhoun St.
