Have had a lot of Thai food. Y’all went heavy on the mint on all of the platters. Missing the real Thai ingredients in all the dishes. The fried wings where excellent though. The nam tum lacked flavor. The dumplings where sub par. . There was no option for Thai hot or spicy when ordering which was disappointing. Food did arrive hot and freshly cooked. For 100 bucks I really expectedmore flavor and the traditional fresh flavors and sweet spicy Thai seasoning. The noodles where cooked well though but again lacked flavor and the protein portions where extremely small.
I love Basil. This location is the least good (food wise) of the Basil’s but it is in the Park Circle area so it suits when hanging out there. The waitstaff is excellent. There are two good wine places in park circle and the wine offering at this** Basil isn’t good. Like… ugh not good.So what do they do? Charge a $30 corking fee. THIRTY DOLLARS. That is the price of this Basil’s most expensive bottle!
The service was great and the food was delicious. We were seated immediately and it did not take long to get our meal. We will definitely be returning.
A little on the pricier side for Thai but very good and nice dining areas inside and out as well as a full service bar which alot of Thai places don't have.
The food and drinks were phenomenal! The service was excellent! Our server was very attentive and fast. We will definitely be going back.
Came in at 5:55 and was promptly seated at an outdoor table. Two friends arrived at 6:10 to join us and it wasn't until 6:35 that a server came to our table. She was apologetic and mentioned how busy it was and that she didn't know we were seated there. We put in our drink order and appetizer. Received drinks promptly: 2 mules, 1 beer and 1 whiskey.Server came around and took our order for main course. Put in another drink order as we received our appetizers. We received our appetizers at 7:20 and our main course at 7:28.Food was good, not great, but nothing to complain about. Had the experience of a long wait after seating and after ordering not happened, it may have left a better taste with more uplifting comments. After the fact, the server apologized about the waits and blamed business, drunk customers and st Patrick's day celebrations. Unfortunately, blaming others doesn't take care of the service or food. So I'll probably not come back here when there are other options to enjoy.
This place was great! Lots of flavor and they remembered to ask how spicy we would like our food, which I said none, LOL.
This place was amazing. We had the Pho, Steamed Dumplings, Fried Wonton, and pad Thai. It was amazing. We were very pleased with the food and the service.
Love this place! Haven't had a bad meal. Great service!
I had the Pad Thai which was by far the worst I have ever eaten. It tasted like it was made with ketchup straight out of the bottle with added sugar. And why was it made with thin noodles instead of the flat rice noodles. The sauce was too thick for that type of noodle. It made it very difficult to pick up. My daughter had the Green curry which was ok but not worth $26.00. Overall this place is way over priced for the quality of food. I have had low end fast food Thai way better than this.
