Noy what it use to beFood and service has went downhill. This was ourgo -to place but not anymore. Visited April 3 around 8pm.The food was cold and waiter did not refill drinks. Took over 30 min to get our order placed and 15 min to get a drink order in. They were not too busy. Ordered nachoes with toppings on side bc dont want chips soggy and recieved it all together. Ordered kids nachoes and recieved chips with cold shredded cheese on it sent that back. Never got the side of rice we ordered. Food was warm not hot. This place needs new cooks. Ordered a burrito and got end pieces of squash in it. Ordered light green peppers amd recieved none at all. We will sadly have to find a new resturant. There were 7 of us at this dinner and 6 of us usually eat here. Last time we were in, veggies were burnt in burrito and Texas rice. Like i said we loved eating here but not anymore.

Always great service and wonderful food! Been coming here forever and keep on too.

The staff was great. The food was fresh and delicious. Despite the crowd, we only waited like 10 minutes on our meal. This store carries on the Monterey's tradition of great food and great service!

It was ok...my husband got chicken nachos and I got the monterrey steak..my steak was mostly fat and the chicken was unseasoned....butttttt.....we also got monterrey dip and that was so delicious I'd go back just for that

Took the wife and kids today at lunch time service was fast and amazing all food came out fast and hot and tasted good highly recommend

They have the most delicious house Sangria? & my husband loved the house hot sauce?

This order was pick up. The food was cold. Tacos stale. Not good

Great service by Adelina. good food

Very spacious restaurant, very well laid out, food is great, and presented and laid out well on the plate, waitress was very very attentive, though it wasn't very busy either. But all plates, 5 in total, plus 2 appetizers, all came as requested and well made.

The service was exceptional. This is the only reason any stars are awarded. The tamal was more like a hot dish with almost no wrap or pork and a pile of ground beef on top.The ground beef on the tamal and in the taco was so over seasoned it was almost inedible. The rice and the fajitas had hardly any flavor. The salsa looked and tasted like marinara sauce with some hot sauce mixed in.The molten lava cake tasted like I ate a spoonful of cocoa powder and then drank a glass of water, and came with more ice cream than cake. The prices were not terrible but definitely higher than competitors in the area.
