Ordered Burrito Especial there was maybe 1 tablespoon of cheese sprinkled on top. Last time it was covered with grated cheese. Waitress said it would be $1.75 to put cheese on it. ?????Should have sent it back.Changa mixta was very good. Salsa and chips below average. Slowwwww service. Never did get refills even though we asked.2nd time here. May not be a third.
Register prices do not match menu prices. Went there for nearly a year since they opened and every time I ordered a chicken salad they added $1 to the price for chicken !! Its billed as a grilled chicken salad. They then had a menu update and ordered something else which again the register price didn't match the menu price. Not going back, such a shame. Love the people, love the food but I will not be conned every time I go in there.
The lack of attention, drink refills, or even a bill at the end of our meal made me not want to come back. The place was empty when we arrived and only a few people (and more waitresses) arrived before we left. I couldn't understand the lack of once we got our food. The food was a little high but good. I just don't feel encouraged to give this place another try.

We eat at Medina's at least once a week, and love the staff and food! They are always polite and responsive, and the food is delicious each time we go!!!!! We highly recommend Medina's!
First-time visitor evening of 3/21/22. The beautiful young lady that served us was most charming with superb level of Customer Service (which deserved 5 stars). Then, came the moment of truth...reason for the 1-star rating - (Ordered Mixed Fajitas x2): The food was bland and mediocre, with absolutely no hint of seasoning ANYWHERE to be found in every bite...including the chicken, the steak, the queso dip, even the salsa. The taste quality comes nowhere near other Mexican Restaurants within the vicinity (Guanajuato/Teresa's/Monterrey's/Mia Rancho (North Augusta, SC or Downtown Augusta, GA) Please season everything as it cooks... Flavor is everything! Until then, we will not be returning. (Sorry)
Best food and great service everytime.
Tonight my wife and I had our 4th meal at Medina's. The food has always been excellent. However, tonight we ate our meal which was good. We got a Togo box because we could not finish our food. As we were leaving we failed to get our Togo box. When we realized we had left the Togo box behind we returned to Medina's about 25 min later it had been thrown out. There was a 10 min conversation in Spanish which I do not speak. Finely I ask if it had been thrown out. There was no mention of making good on the half meal worth about $10. Just ? sorry. I won't be going back there.
Their food and chips are awesome I love their food and eat there whenever I can and whenever I go near the area
