I'm absolutely very disappointed I took my mom and my grandmother and my son here for lunch on a Saturday my son and my grandma had the lunch flounder basket my mom and I had ordered the 3 entree with fries and Cole slaw first of all the portions were very small the coleslaw was in a condiment cup for $3 we were charged for the entrees but received the $9 lunch baskets whichincluded one piece of fish 10 french fries and 3 scallops check was $120.00for absolutely nothing so when I called back to explain to them that their prices were a little over priced it was brought to my attention we were charged for the wrong thing after speaking to the manager Emily who stated she would call me back after she talk to the owner who by the way didn't call me back I had to call them back 2 weeks later and as I'm telling her the story again she states me there's no way we only gave you one piece of fish on the flounder basket so I stated you didn't that was right but wait a minute everyone makes mistakes your cooks and servers are not perfect and just remake my food right or refund me for what I was charged for in which she offered I was satisfied with that but I will not go back there or recommend anyone to visit because the way I was treated it was just uncalled for my problem is she tried to make me feel as tho I was lying about the mistake kept asking me the same questions over and over again she was rude and defensive now let me also give a little about my background I was a restaurant manager and I've served tables but if a $24 meal is going to break you then u might not need to be in business it's very unfortunate that they lost a customer because the food was good the server did good but she made a mistake own up to it so with that being said maybe the next mistake you guys will own up to and call your customer back and not make the customer feel uncomfortable with a complaint because as a manager Emily it good to know feed back and what's going on but I guess I forgot where I was as a use to be restaurant manager I've heard all the stereotypes of all races black Asian white Spanish so I know why I was treated that way and shame on you ! She didn't even say goodbye she hung up in my face As I stated before there was nothing wrong with the food or service we just didn't get what we paid for we came we been and we saw but never again!! Thanks but no thanks ! Remember word of mouth goes a long way !
My husband had fried shrimp and I had the catfish filets. The hush puppies were large and so tasty. The food was great and hot like just like in the old days! We'll be back!
Food was almost as good as the original Ts. Hushpuppies were spot on! Yummy!! Liked the outdoor seating, only wish there was more.Too crowded inside to dine comfortably. Ate outside but there was only room for 3 tables. Suggest a cover/canopy of some sort due to inclimate weather and when the idiots at the gas station are blowing the parking lot debris over the fence into your food and drink. Also if more space, we wouldn't have had to listen to 4 unhappy and unrealistic women complaining about each and every thing their server was doing or not doing. The only silence we had from them is when their food came.??Miss the salad boat. Miss real plates, real silverware, and real drinking glasses. Miss the space of a restaurant. Not thrilled with the surcharge fee when using a credit card and a hospitality fee that was added for only 2 of us.Maybe with enough support from the community, another Ts restaurant will be able to open.
Atmosphere is that of a fast food place. The food is still good but very high priced for a fast food atmosphere. The menu has a lot missing. Ok to grab a fast bite but nothing like the old T's in Augusta which gave you a restaurant atmosphere. Also parking is terrible and they only have 1 restroom.
I wanted to stop in here for several weeks. Tonight was the night. It is a simple place, nothing fancy as can be seen from the photos. It was not very crowded when I arrived about 5:30 but it got busy quickly. The parking lot and tables were full when I left. Surprisingly, Food is served on butcher paper on a plastic plate. You are provided plasticware utensils, and drinks are in a plastic disposable cup. Not sure if this is a Covid thing or standard procedures. The food was so-so. Very filling, but not too flavorful. The menu choices were adequate and the meal was prepared fairly promptly. The tables were spaced adequately and I did not feel cramped. Not too sure I will return, but I at least left there feeling full.P.S. Their 1960s music was awesome!
I ordered dinner for pick up..paid17.98 for each combination dinner and when I got home we only had fish..no shrimp..and when I tried to call back to tell them they did not answer the phone. Prob will not go back. The food was good but it's just as good other places.
Food and service was excellent BUT we are not fans of flimsy plastic eating utensils. The styrofoam saucers and serving containers aren't favorites either but are acceptable. The cheap flimsy plastic eating utensils are not and that is enough to make us not return.
Grilled shrimp salad, lettuce, 5 boiled shrimp and 6 hush puppies. $ 25. Not happy. Went back last week, everything was great. Sorry T's!
People courteous, clean; however disappointed in food choice, fried filet catfish, too much crust, overcooked. Origally ordered grilled, didn't have. Later saw grilled tilapia, on customer plate, wasn't mentiond, when ordering, disappointed. Hushpuppies delicious. I would give them a second chance with the grilled tilapia.
It is just as good, if not better, than the original T’s. Food that satisfies your craving and emotions. Plenty of excellent food for your money. Great service.By the way, I never never touched grits with cheese. Seriously their cheese grits were off the chart!!!!
