When went to the Waffle House on 28Ave this morning at 5:00 am to have breakfast and we talk to the waitress said she was going spit in my food. I told her she was wrong and my husband was very upset. She said after Father's Day she did know where his head was at. She was dead wrong. I would never ever eat there again. Even though she apologized but she laugh about it and the cook didn't care either. He took busy on his cell phone to care. Why would never ever there ever again. You just lost my business forever.
We stopped here because most places seem to close around 8:00 PM here. First off, the waitress couldn't understand what we were trying to order and our order was wrong. For example one kid ordered a sausage cheese omelet with grits and toast but I wanted the grits in a separate bowl because one of my other kids was going to eat it along with a waffle. It took at least 3 minutes to get her to understand what I was trying to do. Also, I ordered myself a cheese omelet with hash browns and bacon on the side but I received a bacon and cheese omelet instead. Both of the omelets ordered were overcooked and slightly charred. We don't plan to return to this restaurant.
Great breakfast. Love them waffles. A good go to place for breakfast. Some locations just cant get enough workers but still good food.
its Waffle House. National chain is clean and a good place for quasi cheap bite. staff is good at their job and food is on par with all other waffle houses
I love going to the waffle house and eating. One of my favorite places to eat ever. Everyone is always very nice and I absolutely love the food and orange juice.
This particular Waffle House is a must go. The people who work here treat you like you are family. Everyone who works here goes above and beyond to make your experience fun and the food was delicious!
Early 8 to 9 morning cook. Got steak, eggs over light and hash browns. I watched the cook take my steak off the grill 10 mins before she did our hash browns but after 10 mins they brought my steak by itself to me. Another 10 to 15 mins before we got our plates. By this time both the steak and eggs were cold. Too ordered the steak med and she did it well done. Hash browns were great. Waitress was awesome and took the steak and eggs off our bill. I love waffle house and that is my go to plate, so it isnt because it isnt a steak place. Most times this plate is really good. Just this cook.
Fun place at 3am. Jukebox was jumping and I was doing Karaoke while I waited on my food. Friendly service, good food and clean establishment.

This no frills breakfast eatery offers a limited menu of eggs, waffles, pancakes, hash brown, bacon, sausage, grits and breakfast bowls. Counter side booths offer a simple approach of friendly service straight from the grill to you. Three crispy strips of bacon, four halves of thick, buttery toast, couple scrambled eggs (my choice) and fried hash browns was to my liking. And easy on the wallet.
