Great food! The red sauce is the best that my fiancé has ever had! We came here two years ago on vacation and knew we had to come back while we were here on vacation again. We had the meatballs with fresh mozzarella, mild sausage and peppers, trio parmigiana, Calabrian sausage ravioli and a cannoli. Everything is seasoned so perfectly and tastes amazing. The customer service by Samantha was the best we have had on our vacation! Samantha was attentive and very friendly!
Service was fantastic! Food was yummy ? owner came out to greet us and ask us how everything was. We loved that ? we will definitely be back to eat if we are ever in Mrytle again.
Started coming here when in town for golf back in the 1990s. Moved to SC and always made Villa Romana a must stop when here for weekends. Finally moved to Murrells Inlet in 2014 and have been coming at least monthly. Staff is very professional and the owners -- Rinaldo & Fran -- are delightful. They normally stop by your table to say hello and ensure everything meets your needs. Great service, very nice wine choices, specials are always interesting, and the menu has just about anything Italian that you might want. Will also do variation and/or specials upon request. Don't miss it.
So far the best restaurant that I’ve visited in Myrtle beach! Also the best price/quality ratio! For $127(party of 3, 1 bottle of wine, before tip) we got a course of complementary appetizer, bread, soup&house salad. The main course was brought right after we were done with the salad, there was no unnecessary wait. I appreciate the servers, they are very polite and attentive, totally worth leaving a 25%tip, (unlike in some other local places that I’ve visited here).I’ve got a daily special, Atlantic flounder stuffed with seafood, it was served with freshly made pasta and tomato sauce, all tasted delicious. One of my party members got rack of lamb, we all agreed that those ribs were the best ribs we’ve tried in a long time. The cooks do an amazing job!I’ll be back before the end of my vacation, so glad I’ve discovered this restaurant!
Combination parmigiana was really good. Mike the accordion player did a great rendition of Simple Man as well as sang happy birthday for someone in our group. Friendly atmosphere and a lot of fun.
This is the best Italian cuisine I've ever had. Great atmosphere and wonderful service from our waiter Tim, and we were serenaded by a gentlemen that who played accordion and who was a bit of a comedian. My family and I are here in Myrtle Beach on vacation. Wish we had an Italian restaurant this great back home.
My partner and I struggled to find a lot of decent restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area so we were excited to stumble across this one because of the reviews. Our waitress was phenomenal and was probably the best part of our visit here. We really enjoyed the food settup of this restaurant as we have never enjoyed something that comes with bruschetta right away. The antipasti, soup and salad were pretty good. Everything was a little too salty and the salad was too oily for my liking. The dessert was very good. We had a coupon that included a cannoli and it was awesome. Now, that just leaves the entree. We were very disappointed with this. When it came out my partner and I looked at each other with a shocked look on our faces. I’m not sure if it is because we are from the Chicagoland area and have very high expectations for food or if it’s because I am Italian and have the same for my own food, but I have never been served something that I would consider non edible. The presentation of my partners veal looked like it was just thrown on the plate and smothered in sauce. The plate looked like it had soup on it, it was very unappetizing. The overall experience at this restaurant was pretty decent. Our waitress definitely saved the experience with good conversation.
The food was incredible. My husband got the Chicken Florianto and was in love. He practically licked his plate. I got the chicken ripieno and loved the chicken with ham, cheese, and white wine sauce. Meal included bruschetta, soup, salad and rolls for an incredibly reasonable price. We ate there two times this week and will definitely put it on our list next time we visit the area.
i have gone to Villa Romano in the past with just my husband, friends and my book club twice for dinner. This time was a Mother's Day dinner with daughter and son-in-law. My daughter doesn't let me complain about anything so here it is. This time I found some things different including 1) air conditioning blowing so hard I thought I would have pneumonia. I asked them to turn the blower down and they did (for about 10 minutes) then I came back on. I sat there eating in my raincoat I bought as it had rained earlier. Our waitress "Sandy" had a puss on her face til the bill came. I was starving and wanted to order but she just walked away and came back over 20 minutes later.. 3) My rigatoni was cold but again, I couldn't find Sandy so didn't eat much of it. OKay, here are the compliments - veal parm was excellent and large amount of it. Of course, the accordian player was his usual comedian (he should take this on the road). I'm disappointed in having to write this review but maybe it's necessary. I hope to go back and things get back to the way they were.
The best meal we had while in Myrtle Beach. The food was fantastic. The wait staff was very attentive. The only downside was VR would not accept a gift card received from our local timeshare.
