The food is so awful that you’re afraid to to eat it. No care taken with this place at all. I don’t understand why Myrtle Beach has the most god awful food. Just because people are on vacation doesn’t mean they don’t want decent food. We didn’t even eat what they gave us and they never asked why, they just don’t care. Don’t eat here, save your money.
This establishment is incredibly unprofessional. They have a fault ID scanner with PA licenses, and they are aware of this problem. My PA license came back as invalid, and they took it. I understand they have a duty to keep underage drinking at bay. However, if you are aware of the problems- it is your responsibility to ensure your business is functioning properly. The bouncers (the ones who made it known that the scanner has had problems before) physically removed us from the establishment as we were trying to discuss the matter with a manager. There was also no manager on scene. If this is scanning valid license as invalid (the most basic part of owning and operating a bar), what else is slipping though the cracks?
The bar tenders were attentive and very well mannered. O don't know about the service for sit down customers though it did look like they could use more servers on the floor! Besides that, everything was great. Props to the one guy playing guitar and singing for hours straight! Food and drinks are at a AMAZING PRICE! If only maryland and DC had prices as such! Overall fun place go and enjoy the view
My sister and I were visiting Myrtle Beach and decided to go out for a night while we were there. Normally neither of us are big on going out at all but we had such a good time the first night, we went back the next night (our last night). All of the wait staff we interacted with was great both nights, but Jamie was hands down the reason we would have been coming back for a third night. You know you have a great bartender and atmosphere when someone can just have water most of the night and still have a great time. I highly recommend checking out the Tin Roof and personally can't wait to go back.
This place is one of the best bar restaurants I have ever been to on vacation EVER and I have been all over the country. The live acoustic entertainment takes the cake as you sit outdoors hearing the waves crash in. Nikki was our server and is the best around hands down. If you get great service you are allowed to buy them a shot and they will do it with you happily! We give them an 11!
A couple of beers late afternoon. I don’t believe there could be a Tin Roof with a better view! It’s right beside Pier 14. No food ordered so no opinion is implied.
Pretty cool bar with some good Tex-Mex food and a decent drink list. Potentially the best food we had in Myrtle Beach so far. We went an hour after they opened and it was pretty empty. There was no live music at this time, but we were informed a DJ would be there if we came back later. The server was attentive and the view was beautiful. There is inside and outside seating, but it was a little windy to be outside at the moment. It's on the top floor of a three story building on the beach. It was $40 for two meals and two beers pre-tip (the menus weren't accurate, as they had just ordered new ones). The only critical feedback is that the tables and menus were sticky.
Live music, great food & beer! But now the view and atmosphere, now that's just out of sight! Check it out when you're in town, we'll be back! A bit "pricey", but then everything is these days, especially at Myrtle! Happy hour helps out big time with that, which we took advantage of!
If not for our exceptional server Bonnie, I would have given 1 star. That would have also been for the view and atmosphere.Despite what appeared to be a lot of employees standing around, there seemed to be only two waitress working the entire dining area. There was a manager-type person who kept going around asking if everything was OK. When ordering our drinks we were told the draft beer equipment was down, and they were out of some ingredients to make their signature drinks highlighted on the menu. When drinks arrived, mine was completely something other than what I ordered. The food portions were very small. The burger was the size of a slider and was $11.25 ($11 on the menu). One of the chicken tenders ($6 on the menu, charged $7) was the size of a McNugget. The $3.25 side of crinkle fries ($3 on the menu) was small enough to fit in a coffee cup. A third person in our party said his tacos were not the best but I don't have a full description from him as he spent the rest of the evening in the bathroom.Overall, quite sad because the last time we tried Tin Roof a couple years ago for lunch, the experience was terrific. But, like many Myrtle Beach restaurants, this one was great in initial quality but has gone downhill. The staffing issue is everywhere because of the pandemic, but there is no excuse for such poor food quality.
I LOVED this bar! They have one side with live music and the other side is a dancefloor with a DJ. My group and I danced on the DJ side for almost three hours! In between the two different sides they have an outside bar with table and chairs which is nice if you are a smoker or just need fresh air from dancing! I will be going here when I go back to Myrtle Beach!
