Family dinner of seafood and more. With effectively three teenage adult eaters the buffet filled everyone up and had something for everyone. Though a little pricey at -$50.00 each. Everyone had their fill and enjoyed crab kegs shrimp, fish, chicken and steak. Something for everyone. The staff kept up with our crinks snd tried hard to keep the buffer stocked. Some items were empty but were quickly filled. Price included dessert as well. We enjoyed the crab, chicken and fish. The shrimp cocktail was over done and lacked flavor but we found other items to try including crawfish. Enjoyed a filling meal with family

Excellent customer service and buffet style food to include crab legs, fried oysters, steak, chicken, shrimp, crab cakes, etc ... For dessert ice cream, lemon cake, coconut cake, peach cobbler, red velvet cupcakes, banana pudding, cookies, etc... Restaurant is on a more on expensive side however it's well worth the money you spend for fine dining food on a buffet line highly recommend!

Sit back my friends and let me tell you a story about the very best Calabash Buffet Restaurant in the Grand Strand. Our party of eight arrived and while the parking lot was full were still able to find three slots. You cannot make reservations so your journey begins with a long slow walk up to the desk to register for dinner. Each group is given a seafarers name which starts the fun. After a nominal 30 minute wait we were guided to our table by a Deck Hand after picking up a few trays of Hush puppies which were hot and good. Next begin our 170 Food Buffet wonder land. In no way would nor could I list all the items but suffice to say the unlimited Crab Leg Clusters were and are a big hit. Steamed Clams, Mussels, Shrimp ?, plus Roast Beef Pasta Station, Fried Food area were all fantastic. The cost is a bit high at $50 per person, $21.99 for children under 12 plus drinks and an 18% gratuity for parties of 8+ cost us $484.00 but we'll worth it as this may only be a once a trip outing. Simply we have been coming here for 20+ years and wouldn't do so unless it was a really special place. Hope you give it a try.

Not just seafood, this place is an experience! While visiting Myrtle Beach I had to have some seafood (its a must right?!?) After looking at reviews and searching on Google Maps we decided to eat here, at The Original Benjamin's Calabash Seafood.Upon arrival I notice plenty of parking including a side lot and quite a few handicap spots. As soon as you enter the establishment you see some huge model ships, and various props from maritime. This place is borderline a museum. As the waitstaff walks you to you table they explain where everything is, including shipbuilding (model) downstairs, which also is a play set up for children. They grab your hushpuppies and continue to your table. After being seated the waiter(es) comes and explains pricing and ask children's age, then take your drink order. While drink orders are getting filled you hit up the MASSIVE buffets. They have about everything you can imagine and I found everything to be good. I consumed large amounts of crablegs with butter sauce, crab cakes, salmon patties, and crawfish. Everything I had was delicious. They even brought more crablegs to the table. On way out you will also find a giftshop with lots of unique items. Including T shirts. If you are looking for a great seafood meal and a cool maritime atmosphere I'd highly suggest visiting this place. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Went here while on vacation and loved every bit about it. Food was amazing. 100% recommend the buffet.

Best buffet around! My sons are picky, yet they can’t wait to dine here every year!

Top notch buffet. Staff were friendly you're greeted at the door and taken to your table. The atmosphere was amazing, everyone was so friendly and helpful. They have all kinds of seafood, I was very impressed. Our server was friendly, he took really good care of us. I would definitely go back next time I visit Myrtle.

What a fun place this is! The inside is beautiful, with tons to look at. The model ships throughout, are amazing! The buffet is $47.99 for adults, $21.99 for kids, (5-12 I believe), & $4.99 for kids under 5. Last year, we ate at another place, & the food was awful, so I spent some time reading reviews. Every buffet is now about this price, unfortunately, but everything I ate, was really good. I skipped the salads & sides, & went mainly for the seafood, so I can only speak on that. The shrimp were fresh, & cooked perfectly. (If you go, try the blackened grouper! I'm not a fish fan at all, but this was delicious.) We waited until about 7 to go, & there was no line. Our server, Lisa, was absolutely the best. There's an arcade, kid's area, an area to watch the gentleman craft the model ships, & a gift shop. This will be our go to place from now on!

Atmosphere was great..a bit crowded when going back and forth to the bar. Food was very good and plentiful. Wish they had more fish to choose from. We had a party of 37 and the staff were very organized, polite and present.

Yummy!! Fantastic crab legs! Great service. Very clean and maintained buffet! Something for everyone to like! We really enjoyed our meal and our waiter was very tentative to our drinks !
