not tonight for sure it was the worst steak I ever had didn't even eat it had the baked potato and a coke steak wasn't any good
great food and awesome server!
This is our favorite go to restaurant for steak it’s always cooked the way we like it and the ranch dressing is out of this world plus the service is always great I highly recommend this place.
If you are in Myrtle Beach, SAVE YOUR MONEY!! and go somewhere else. We ordered Filet mignon and a Sirloin. When the food arrived I took a bite of mine Sirloin. It was over cooked and well done, which I ordered medium. I then looked at my wife’s Filet and noticed it looked like sirloin, so I took a bite and it was in fact a sirloin. We complained and they tried to argue with us and said it was a pounded Filet and said “If you didn’t wanted it pounded you need to order it that way”. The waiter in training told us it was a Sirloin. The manager then came out with a steak, while holding it in her hand and touching it with her 4” long fingers nails, then had audacity to ask me if I wanted to taste it. The waitress was also EXTREMELY rude, disrespectful, and then expected us pay a 18% gratuity. Overall TERRIBLE service, terrible food, and charge like a fine dining restaurant. Stay away!!!
I should had read the reviews before attempting going out here. Ordered a salad at first it wasn't up to my satisfaction. The iceberg lettuce had been sitting in the refrigerator for a while that it had become soggy not fresh looking at all. Ordered a rib and chicken combo with canned collard greens which you see below with a sweet potato. Presentations is everything to me get my order. It was very disappointed to me my rib had fat hanging from it chicken dry sweet potato wasn't hot. I was in disbelief what was sitting in front of me. The manager did come out to offer me something else I didn't want ANYING from Texas RoadHouse. The cooks in the back didn't look professional after everyone got their food and it was time to go they were in the back smoking. I see why they have such a low rating. Please go somewhere else this is not the same Texas Roadhouse. The food is not the same and people are nice but the food is planned out disgusting.
**STAY AWAY**Horrible mistake on our part for not paying attention to the red flags! Prices are horribly outrageous, quality of food is very lacking, ability to cook food correctly is very lacking, service is the worst we have ever experienced anywhere. Bread is, what looked like, dinner rolls from Walmart ? This business is managed and run with individuals that think they can serve you whatever, and expects you to smile and accept it for a HUGE amount of $$. Restaurant had very few customers, and the few that was there were just as unhappy as us. After ordering a filet, cooked medium, the server brought out a well done sirloin. After questioning the server, she said it was absolutely a filet then went to get manager. Manager brought out a filet in her bare hand (with long nasty finger nails) to compare, then ask if we wanted to cut and taste to prove it was a pounded filet and if we didn’t want it pounded we should have specifically order it un-pounded. The cut of meat was clearly a sirloin, but sadly this manager thought we would eat this nasty cut of meat after it had been handled with her nasty bare hand ? Finally The correct cut of meat was cooked correctly and put in to go boxes for us, which instead of arguing about it should have been fixed to start with. Finally, when your bill comes you better make sure you look closely at it because you’ll find that they automatically charge you 18% gratuity. Which we would not have had a problem with if the server had not talked to us so rudely and disrespectful. Definitely nothing like the authentic Texas Roadhouse we enjoy everywhere we travel too ? YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, STAY AWAY!!!!!*****UPDATE*****The do over steaks that were given in togo boxes (because they wanted us to leave), made us sick ? Again, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!
This was our first visit to Texas Roadhouse Grill. First of all, this is not part of the Texas Roadhouse chain of restaurants; Texas Roadhouse Grill is family owned and operated by folks that helped build Myrtle Beach, which is a plus for me right off the bat. The grounds are neat and clean outside, the atmosphere indoors is warm and inviting with the exposed beams and ductwork, to the beautiful heart pine walls and ceilings. We were there for a group party, and our server was Larry. He did the work of 10 men, confidently and quickly, taking orders for 18 people, and delivering our drinks, appetizers, and entrees in perfect time....he was a machine, and you couldn't ask for a nicer person to take care of you! The food was on point as well, from the fluffy, Texas tall, warm yeast rolls with honey butter, the cactus flower with your choice of 2 tasty dipping sauces, the fall off the bone meaty rack of ribs blanketed in tangy bbq sauce, down to the seared and cooked to perfection rib eye steaks, every bite was delicious!! I've been to the chain Texas Roadhouse, and was absolutely underwhelmed, but I will go back to Texas Roadhouse Grill again... it was divine!!
Your average Texas Road House. Same menu that we have at home. Food was good and cooked to the requested temp.
Staff was nice. Waitress was pleasant. Beware this is NOT Texas Roadhouse. If you want rolls and you come before noon, you get yesterday’s left over rolls. They won’t give fresh ones until after 4pm and the come with a charge, even the day old ones. Corn on the cob is in fact not on the can but in a bowl and is tasteless. I wish I would have know this is NOT a Texas Roadhouse as I would have dined elsewhere.
Terrible experience. Staff was rude and unprofessional. Waited 3 hours for a cold appetizer and no main course. The manager Matt should be fired or should be demoted to folding napkins or cleaning toilets. I’ve had better service at McDonald’s in aynor. Drove a hour to come eat with a party of 15. The waitress was completely clueless as so was the manager. Save your money and buy your steak at foodlion and go home and cook it.
