Giving this Sonic a one star because I have to rate something in order to post. My friends and I came through the drive thru at 10:30pm… normally we would not push it so close to closing time but we were all eager for a really good milkshake and all were in a agreement about where to go. We pull up to the speaker and no one says anything for five minutes before our friend driving says hello in which it was returned with a hold on a sec. We waited while we decided and then gave our order. 3/4 of us ordered a milkshake one being an Oreo cheesecake milkshake and one being a plain Oreo while the other was vanilla. When we pulled up to the window we were “greeted” by a young boy with glasses who just shoved the milkshakes out the window rapidly without saying a word. As we are trying to figure out which milkshake was which as there was no indication in wording and they all resembled vanilla milkshakes we looked at one that had visible Oreo bits on top. The other two after looking thoroughly both by tasting and poking through the entire milkshake were both vanilla. While we were waiting to inform the young boy that there might have been a mix up (and still waiting on a meal we ordered with the milkshakes) he opens the window and says “did you guys need anything else.” We then informed him that we have not received our food and that the Oreo cheesecake milkshake was mixed with a vanilla. Instead of correcting this mistake he then proceeded to close the window and grab another female coworkers attention about the situation. After watching him speak behind the closed window he then reopened the window and said “it just looks like that because it probably was not mixed all the way and that the pieces are at the bottom”. We explained there were no Oreo pieces nor did it taste like cheesecake at all at which point the young man caught an attitude asking if we want them to remake it in a very rude tone. Shocked we tried to explain we checked it thoroughly and we just really want the correct shake to be on our way. He then proceeds to come out of the building up to the side of our car demanding the incorrect milkshake back and because we took too long to give it back out of confusion why he came out of the building he ran back in. Following this a young blonde female came up to the window, the one who made the shake presumably, claiming it is the correct one but she wants the incorrect one back. We asked her why she wanted one we touched back but assumed it was because we look young and they did not believe us but gave it back anyways so we could get this resolved. She then proceeded with a rude tone to tell us it was five minutes until they closed before grabbing it completely out of the drivers hands, and as we waited for the correct shake WE PAID FOR we watched and heard them say inappropriate and rude comments about my friends and I because of their mistake…. We will not be back unless it’s to speak with a manager about professionalism and how the staff needs some. My friends and I having all worked in customer service understand the difficulties of rude customers and remaking items when we “do not want to” but we were not rude and were met with arguing and complaints from the employees who according to the blonde female had five more minutes of paid time on the clock.
Close to work so went for lunch. Although the ordering went ok and decent time, they messed up my order -which I don't find out till I get back to work to eat it. I ordered #5 without cheese, it came with it. Can't stand cheese on sandwiches! So I have wasted my lunch break for a sandwich I can't eat because the cheese is glued to the chicken and bun-cant take it off. Tried to do the survey on the bottom, except that there isn't a store number on receipt so you can't do that neither. Tried to call, just rang.
Have always enjoyed Sonic and the variety it offers,this one is fairly quick getting orders out and getting them right
Employees were nice but the burgers are kind of sweet for some reason.
You get what your paying for. Same as every sonic. I have noticed longer wait times at this location compared to others in the area. Not due to business, just the average time it takes somebody to get their food either in the drive through or pull up stations. Bring back the big scoop blast and I'll add a star!
I like Sonic a lot, but this location is terrible. I live in Carolina Forest so I'm forced to use this location quite a bit when the kids want ice cream. They literally can NEVER get the order right. I'm sitting here again after I paid for double cheeseburgers and eating singles. I'm just fed up this happens constantly. They take forever, much longer than any other location they always get the order wrong aannnd they don't serve breakfast after 11am at this location. If your passing through KEEP GOING AND FIND THE NEXT SONIC LOCATION.

Go here all the time. One word to describe Sonic at Carolina Forest? Consistent. The food is hot and fresh every time I go.
