Place is good, food is good.The prices are okay.Two reason why I give a Three.1- They are short on staff and our waitress was not friendly at all, didn’t even check if we needed water.2- They automatically add a 20% tip to your check. I don’t mind giving tip when they deserve it. But in this case I don’t think they even deserve a 10%.This is just my honest review
Overall, this place is great! So when we finally handled the parking situation, we walked in and we were asked if we wanted to eat inside, outside, or on the roof. I have a thing about fighting bugs for my food so we opted for the inside and because they were so full they asked if we wanted to sit at the bar. We said 'yes,' and boy oh boy they could have supplied the entire nation during prohibition! They have so much of a selection, my husband was speechless ?. Anyway we ordered our drinks and food and it was out on our table incredibly fast, despite being busy. To describe how delicious the food was, you need to be my taste buds. The food was beyond delicious it was next level, we got some sushi to eat there and ribs/ lamb chops to take away. We also got Miso soup, it was the absolute best Miso I've had in my entire life! The lamb was a little fatty for my liking but it was so tasty I didn't mind. The decor is nice too but you will quickly forget the decor when the food hits your taste buds. I don't usually give 5 stars but this place deserves it and more.Parking: They have a parking lot in the back of the restaurant that is all diagonal spaces. They only have a couple of handicap spots so you may not want to bring a new car, just in case.Wheelchair accessibility: I only saw a couple but they may have more.
This was one of the few bars open late near my hotel on the beach. They have a nice bar with good service. The sushi menu is on the expensive side. But, this is a beach and you have to spend. The bartender was very friendly and made me some good drinks. Just notice your bill as a service charge is placed.
I think the food was decent. Sushi was good but pricey. The service wasn’t good at all. They add 20% tip already so maybe that’s why their service wasn’t that great. They already know they are getting 20% so why do better kind of mind.
This is a great place! Nice variety of food. Very diverse menu. The taste is amazing, the servers are super friendly. The service is great. Classy vibes and nice rooftop.
First time to the North Soho. We sat at the bar and the food was wonderful. What wasn't wonderful was the female bartender. VERY stand offish and I don't think I saw her smile ONCE. We ended up dealing with the young man behind the bar and had a much better experience. He was very professional! She was obviously not wanting to be there, and it showed. Her appearance was not appropriate for a job- yoga pants and a sports bra!! I blame management for this. We will go back but hope that something is done about her attitude!
In the post-pandemic era a lot of places have started to include gratuity in their bill regardless of party size. This results in poor service as is the case with SOHO. Servers don't have to provide any standard level of service since they are guaranteed a reasonable tip. Friendly faces but not capable staff. The food is also mediocre at best. Nothing I would seek out though. The bar looks nice but otherwise I would never eat here again.
While on vacation we ate here because it was 1 block from our hotel. The food was very good and the service was good. We ate there around 8 or 9pm on a Monday night and had to wait maybe 20 minutes for a table. Our waitress Althea was very good and was very nice to my 9 year old daughter.
Came here after a late baseball game, starving! We were seated right away, food and drinks came out fairly fast. The crab rangoons, coconut shrimp, shrimp shumai, sesame chicken and chicken ramen were all phenomenal. The plum sauce that came with the coconut shrimp was out of this world good! Needless to say we all left happy and full.
My family ate here one evening for a late dinner. It was great!! We all loved our food. The service was great. Will defiantly be back.
