Social Coffee Shop at Broadway At The Beach in Myrtle Beach is a great place to go for well prepared coffee and snacks. I like the location and atmosphere that they have available here. Good place to work or have a meeting. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you are well taken care of.
After reading the many good reviews, we decided to check this place out. I always like to support local business when I can. I love that they’re a family-owned business bringing quality products to Myrtle Beach. It’s a cute little shop with friendly staff and delicious drinks!! The employees who helped us today were Savannah, Kinsey, Sabrina, and Alexis. They were all so friendly and welcoming (thank you, ladies!). My mom had the vanilla bean frappe (left) and I had the special of the day (Tre’s pick - iced chai tea, peppermint bark, shot of espresso, and oat milk). The drinks were SO good. I love that their products are organic and from local sources. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Broadway at the Beach whether on vacation or as a local! We will be back!
I got the Toasted Marshmallow Mocha Frappe and it was delicious. My only complaint is that the drink was super sweet. I recommend ordering half the amount sypup, which the staff kindly did, when I ordered the next day.
Our first time at Myrtle Beach and we stopped in here (several times) during our trip for something quick. Super cozy and comfortable environment with great staff. Amazing coffee and baked goods! Better than any coffee place I've been too! Definitely recommend if you're visiting Myrtle Beach!
Very disappointed. There was nothing polite or friendly about them. I understand it's a very hectic place, but there were no customers when my husband and I walked in and maybe it was just a rough day. I don't know. I always used to walk in here and be welcomed, received a smile and had happy people make my coffee. This was a shock. And for a coffee shop to shut off it's restroom... I don't think I'll be revisiting my usual favorite go to spot unless it changes. So sad. I was so disturbed, I can't even remember how the coffee was. Goes to show that employees can make or break a business.
The staff knows their beverages. I love that they asked if I wanted my matcha latte sweet or not. I don’t get them sweet. They also have sugar-free flavors. It was the perfect hot drink on a chilly day.
Coffee is great!. Also the staff was very helpful when I was struggling to pick out a coffee. I highly recommend the Frappuccino salted caramel and if they ask if you want whipped cream I highly recommend it's so so good
So best thing about this place....is that they make Starbucks look inferior. Their frappe's are wonderful and had I taken the time to show you the beauty of their mocha frappe vs. Starbucks I so would. Unfortunately it was so tasty it was gone in minutes. Definitely give these guys a try if you are ready to move on from Starbucks or Dunkin' while you visit Myrtle Beach.
Very expensive, but the frappes were fancy. I got a hot coffee, but I wasn't extremely impressed.Got 2 frappes (didn't get to pick a size), 2 small hot coffees, a cream Danish, and it was almost $40.
Highly recommended! Social Coffee Shop was welcoming and friendly. As we entered we received welcome from Sabrina and Izzy. They were friendly and professional. We ordered mint mocha and caramel hazel macchiato. Loved the staff vibe and atmosphere. Highly recommended!
