MOST DISGUSTING PLACE WE’VE EVER BEEN TO. There is not one good thing to say about this place. DO NOT BOOK HERE! The floors were stained and sticky. The furniture was also stained. The room had not been cleaned since the last guest. We found hair and dust all over the floor. The toilet was broke, phone did not work, refrigerator door was broke and dirty, and the air conditioner did not cool the room at all. The hallways smelled like sewage. The room smelled musty. Everything was filthy. Every ice machine was out of order except for one. We only stayed one night and left. I wouldn’t take anything out of our bags or suitcases while we were there. Never again will I book here. What they advertise is definitely NOT what you get. I would rather sleep in the car!
Housekeeping did not come to collect my garbage and dirty towels. Called the front desk ands they connected me to housekeeping and they still did not show up. Front desk receptionist did not explain the burger vouchers to me nor where to park. Had to ask the bell hops which they were extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the live band . My room could’ve been cleaned better than what it was. I went in and disinfected and sanitized everything.
We have stayed at this location many times. It was great, room was nice and decent priced. Is has been a few years since we have been to Myrtle so fast forward to 2022. According to the pictures and description the hotel has been upgraded and looks so nice! We check in (ladies at the front desk just look like they HATE their job), go to the room, walk in and the shock. The door is broken, rusted chairs and lamps, the balcony door will not shut and the handle brakes, beds broken, looks like mold on the ceiling, bathtub looks like it has not been cleaned in months. I could not believe it. Went back to the front desk to ask for another room but instead was given an attitude and a refund paper slapped on the counter with an eye roll. This hotel ruined the whole vacation for my family! Drove 4.5 hours there just to leave when arriving because there was not one vacancy due to Mustang Week.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!
Great little spot for party people. I had an issue with some roaches in floor 17 but it had just stormed minutes ago so it was understandable. We were given a new room just to be safe and it had no problems whatsoever. We left the outside door open so it was our fault for the bugs. I would stay here again in a heartbeat over any other location. Also you can set off fireworks here.
First, Place looks nothing like booking pics. First room felt so dirty(smelled, musty, sand everywhere) Air conditioning was SO loud, couldn’t even sleep. Beds where hard as a rock. Went to front desk was very nice and helpful, gave new room. It was better , felt clean. Beds still hard as a rock, and air conditioning are all set to an eco mode that you can’t change so still a little musty. Overall spending 1k for 3 night expected way more. Definitely will never be back For what I paid I will book something nicer.
The room we stayed in was basically and air B&B. It was clean and was stocked with plenty of towels and washcloths. Multiple bottles of shampoo, conditioner and soap. Fridge was clean. Up under beds were clean as well. The only problem is that it had a musty smell and the bathroom sink was very slow to drain. They have 2 parking garages and a bellboy that helps with your bags and groceries. Easy access to beach. Did not have a pier close by.
Great customer service bar right outside with the pools and inside resort. Breakfast buffet Not recommended Great prices on drinks food was not good but edible. Definetely bring your own food (they have nice kitchenette in rooms )and very clean. Enjoyed the stay and location!
Awesome resort with great amenities and a nice view! We stayed in a privately owned room and it was nice. It had a fantastic balcony view, a couple of double beds, and a mini TV as well.The amenities are probably the best part of this resort. You have two jacuzzis, one indoor pool, one outdoor pool, a spa, a beach shop, a restaurant, and a beach side bar that regularly plays good music and where you can hang out. You're also only a ten second walk from the beach.Only downsides were that you can hear everything anyone is saying in the rooms next to you. The beach bar also plays loud music until 11 P.M. which may be an issue for those who want to sleep that early (although it wasn't an issue for us). The walls are paper thin, so as long as you can ignore the background noise, you'll be good to go. Smoke (from both cigarettes and pot) also seeped through the vents and into our room occasionally.Overall great stay and would definitely stay here again!
Sands is one of the more affordable stays in Myrtle Beach. The views from the room were beautiful. The room is small 2 queen beds. The stove was broken could use a upgrade. Someone pounded on the door loudly late at night. Other than that the doormen were courteous and shopping and dining were great. I wouldn’t recommend the small restaurant in the building. Very expensive and food was bad. If you’re on a budget this is the best for the money
The stay was very nice! The staff was very helpful, and if we needed anything, they were there to help. The front desk staff was very nice. The hotel was very nice and clean. The only thing I have to tell you that is not positive is I have never been anywhere to stay that I had to make my own bed up before I went to sleep and put the towels in the bathroom.
