This is the WORST Popeyes ever. I have been to many locations in many states, and none of them were as terrible as this place. Sold out of EVERYTHING every single time I go there. ANY time of the day. You can order online and get there and they will tell you they have nothing you ordered, ask you what else you want, then not give you a refund for wasting your time. Very bad management, I don't where the money is going but its defiantly not going back into the company! And anything they do have is stale and tastes like it has been reheated three times. They don't even have the signature biscuits anymore. It's KFC biscuits with Popeyes flavoring.
Visiting from another state and came here. We waited in line for what seemed like an hour. I've never seen a fast food place take this long for orders. We finally got to the window for our food and we were told to pull up the food wasn't ready. We asked how much longer it would take and he said 7 mins...well here we still sit after the 7 minutes waiting. I understand you are short staffed but you need to have the people already there pick up the pace!
Worst experience at a Popeyes ever. First the cashier taking the orders saw a long line of people walk in she said she was taking a break because to many people keep coming in to order. Next lady I'm guessing the manager gave me my food without the apple pies. Never said they were cooking or anything . I had to ask where the rest of my order was. I waited over 20 minutes still no pies. I had to ask again about the apple pies no answer. Finally after a 30 minute wait for 2 apple pies I finally got them. By that time the fries was cold chicken had gotten soggy. There was one person walking around chewing on a straw, leaning on the wall to take orders not even speaking to the customers. The atmosphere in this store was terrible. The lady that placed an order after me left without getting her chicken sandwich that she waited more than 30 minutes for and never received the food or a refund.
This is the second time now that Ive sat at the drive thru for over 30 minutes (because you can't go indoors to order) and been the second one in line at the speaker and they decide to close. The first time was because they said they only had two people working, the second time was because they "couldn't get their computer back up". In the last year their quality of food is poor, they never have what you want and their service is pathetic. Their management is constantly changing and under new ownership the quality of service has declined 90%. We wont be going back. We were promised free coupons by the corporate office.....never received anything!
There dining room was dirty food everywhere a worker was sleeping in the dining room the mac and cheese was chunky cold the mash potatoes horrible will never go back.
Well you blew it. Old, dry, cold chicken tenders. 12 pieces for $38??? Stopped in at 6:30pm, dinner hour. Should have been very fresh for a Sunday dinner rush. If it was even close to fresh...then maybe worth the price. But not the horrible quality of this meal. Food service workers complain they are low paid and worked hard. But when you serve poor quality we don't return, your sales decline, your workers lose hours, and you are forced to cut staff until you close shop! Then the foodservice worker is unemployed. I worked for PepsiCo when they owned KFC. I know chicken and I know when it's been sitting in a warming cabinet for hours. This is very poor quality, old and dried up. I won't be back. Too bad I liked Popeyes when I stopped in Colorado. It was good. Bojangles is not as good flavor but their quality is significantly better. Get you act together people!!
Went here and ordered two meals after 3 minutes we were told to pull up and wait. We waited like 35 minutes for our food but employees kept coming out to check on us and did offer the wings faster they just wouldn’t be spicy. I actually told them I didn’t mind waiting. Like 10 minutes later they came back with a bunch of freebies and an extra Mac and cheese and some pies for our wait defiantly worth the wait . Customer service was also rlly good
Well for the second time within a week at lunch time the Popeyes at 544 and Kings Highway had no chicken sandwiches. How does a restaurant not have their main product available at lunch time. The management there needs to find another job.Popeyes have great chicken sandwiches, Howe, if the chicken is still frozen at lunch time and not in the cooker something is wrong with the staff.
I'm a long time fan of Popeyes, but what I just got was not even eatable. Everything was wrong. OLD OLD OLD food, no sauces, not 1 single item in my order was correct. I tossed what was sent into the trash. I'm seriously disgusted. After reading other reviews I'm left wondering why the employees here clearly want corporate to close this location down? ?
Don't go there about sums it up! Wanted the 10 piece family meal with all tenders, 10 minutes extra wait for tenders. So we ordered regular chicken with mashed potatoes and Cole slaw, but we got some smashed up beans with rice and half a cup of slaw. We won't ever go back there. We have given this place 3 chances. We are done!
