The Black n Bleu Tuna sandwich was exceptional... the best tuna we've ever had. Fast and friendly service. The food came out quickly and the restaurant was really clean. Our waiter, who was also the bartender, was really good. He was very friendly and personable/no pressure dining experience. Would highly recommend! One downside was there was no sushi, but it wasn't the fault of the restaurant, there was a family emergency.Main downside is that for a party of 4 the auto included the tip. Personally, we tip the way you should but don't force the tip onto my bill. This is the one thing that could prevent me from coming back.

Mr. Fish used to be one of our go-to restaurants when in the area. But it had been a number of years since our last visit. So we decided to change that and I am so glad that we did. We arrived a few minutes after 8pm on a Saturday night. Although a chalkboard sign by the door said they were closing at 8, they assured us they were still open. We were promptly seated. Our waitress Michelle was phenomenal the entire night. She was extremely friendly and attentive. She never made us feel rushed despite us being one of her last few tables. She went over and above to make sure that we had absolutely everything we even thought we needed. She also worked with us to accommodate our son's gluten-free allergy. All of our food was very good. The complimentary bite-sozed hush puppies were addictively yummy. I ordered the fried oyster po-boy with fries. My son for the blackened corvina fish sandwich on gluten-free bread with fries and the cucumber- tomato salad. My daughter had the kids' fried flounder with fries. My husband got the fried lobster special for $30 which was an insane deal!!Overall it was a great experience. I'm glad to see this small business is still thriving after so many years!

Best meal I have had at Myrtle Beach! Nkt super fancy, but who cares! Seated quickly and were given complimentary hush puppies which were perfectly fried bites of heaven! Lots of early bird and happy hour sushi specials. I had the lemon caper snapper special with baked potato and cucumber, onion, and tomato salad. All were delish! The salad was ribbon cut with a light vinegarette and the baked potato rolled in foil, slow baked, and served with real butter and sour cream. The snapper was absolutely heavenly! The hubs got the fresh catch mahi with fries and veggies. All were outstanding! Excellent service; we will be back!

We had a great dinner experience tonight at Mr Fish! They had great "Happy Hour" drink and appetizer specials and our two waiters took great care of us (sorry I'm terrible with names, but one them helped at the bar)Vegetarian options: Vegetarian tacos available Parking: Ample parking

Our "go to" seafood place, that we visit every year while in Myrtle Beach. Sometimes twice. The fried shrimp platter is really good, and my "always" choice. Slightly more than a "Dead Lobster", but freshness costs a little more. They also own the Seafood Market next door. Just so you'll know, the hush puppies are like "street crack" Maybe we'll see you there.

Skip it. The bacon wrapped scallops are delicious. The hush puppies and crab bisque are as well. That’s where it ends. The soft shell crab/fried green tomatoes? Awful. The calamari? Bland and basic. The crab balls? Gross. I should have followed my brain and not my stomach. This place is gross and overpriced.

The wait staff here are top notch. SO friendly and going above and. Beyond to take care of you. The shrimp and grits here are a must try. I enjoyed the blackened salmon though the veggie side could have been seasoned more. Would definitely pick this over any of the boring and tired endless seafood buffets that are nearby. The quality and cook are well worth it.

Good fish, sampler platter delicious but not cheap. Bar area sometimes deafening with loud drunk laughter. Good to go early but afternoon drunks may be well into it by then

The Staff here was very nice and patient with us as we took our time deciding what to eat. They were helpful throughout dinner as well with refilling drinks and the like.Food was great! Beer battered Fish and chips were an excellent suggestion and the blue crab legs were perfectly cooked.I do understand mandated gratuity, as far as American culture goes, for large parties but a four top (two adults with two kids) seems a tad skeezy. I dont stiff my servers but I rather choose the amount I give them and rather know that I am going to be charge X% extra to my meal. How about we just try to pay wait staff a reasonable wage so tips are actually a bonus and something to be excited about. Our server did let us know as she brought out the check and apologized for it, like it is her fault.Food and staff are great but I dont even know how much of the tip my server actually keeps. I wager if you are adding gratuity she isn't seeing it all.

We were on a weekend vacay. This place stays busy and waiting time was an 1hr. But that wasn't an issue at all. We did takeout and took it back to the resort. We order the Tradional Mr. Fish, Crab dip, Shrimp pasta. The good was awesome. We enjoyed every bit of it. The staff is so nice and helpful. The hours are tricky so make sure you get there early! Enjoy!!!
