MOD Pizza is awesome. I have visited this location a bunch of times, mainly for differing fundraisers held by organizations at Coastal Carolina University. I typically always order in-person but they also have an app where you can order online. The amount of customization is endless, from the dough to the toppings. There are different base sauces you can choose from, as well as meats, cheeses, and vegetables. There are even sauces you can put on top of the pizza after it is done baking. There are options for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan diets. The pizzas are done within a few minutes depending on how busy it is. I’ve never waited longer than 5 minutes for a pizza here. The staff are nice, and the seating area is clean and comfortable. I typically get the MOD size pizza, it is a personal-sized pizza and they have boxes if you have leftovers. My only warning, if you can call it that, is that you can add whatever you want on your pizza. As many toppings and whatever you’d like. I’d be careful about how many toppings you add onto the pizza if you’re looking for a pizza that won’t flop on itself when you pick it up. That, or they have utensils for you to use. All in all, a great location and a nice chain restaurant.
Really enjoy the idea of being able to make your own pizza, and then the taste is great. I love the cauliflower crust pizza best cauliflower crust pizza I have tasted yet
Unfortunately, I can no longer eat pizza, my absolutely favorite food. So, when I go to Mod, I always get a salad. Always good. My only problem is they do not have honey mustard dressing, so I bring my own. To others that may go there, remember it is fast food and does not claim to be a 5 star Italian restaurant and should not be compared to one. Doing so would be like comparing Burger King to Ruth's Chris Steak House, and make you sound like a fool.
Second time this pizza was not good at all. It was 11 am... I went in for a 3 pizza take out....the food items were mostly empty...could tell it was left over not fresh. Un ripe tomatoes were mixed with regular ones. Hamburger smelled funny, and we all got sick! Not going there again.
Ordered with UberEats. I didn't get the $3 drink I paid for and the salad I created (the one on the printout attached to the top of the bowl) is not the one I got. The pizza was correct but cold.
I love that you can do your pizza any way you want it !! They do a great job and are very kind while they are hooking you up. Sweet tea is good too !!
I have previously been to the Mod pizza in N Charleston and fid not find it appealing or tasty. I have. NOw i agree with my initial assessment. Server are pleasant food is just not up to par.
I like being able to create my own pizza. I had medium with veggies.very quick preparation from oven to me. My grand kids love it. Very clean and very friendly service. Very reasonable prices.
We went in at 7:09 and was told the dining room was closed . There were 3 tables with people in there and 1 table just received their food. However we decided to still order something to eat to go. They informed us that the place is open until 10 pm but the dining room is closed at 7pm. No signs up . Then after we ordered went to pay cash and the young lady informed us as we handed her a $100 bill that they don’t accept anything over a 20$ bill. So just really disappointed no signs nothing explaining their policies or procedures. I am not going back.
Very good pizza. Add as many topping. All 1 price. I will be back. Not sure what took me 4 yrs to go in the first place
