The staff are friendly. The decor was home-like. The sea scallops were slightly over seasoned. Broccoli was tender. Flounder was over cooked. The snowcrab legs were good. The muscles in spicy beer sauce was very interesting. Biscuits were not dry (huge bonus) they are paired with the in house prepared honey-butter.
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly especially a server , that Also have my name, (Ashley) She know what she was doing and what she was about. You can tell making the customers happy was her main priority(She understand the assignment😉)Food is pretty good, the lobster was 100% worth it.
Been going here for several years. Food is still good, still some great deals, and service has improved. They serve inexpensive 19.99 seafood variety meals to $35 lobster tail dinners. Lots of coupons on restaurant.com but know that it's not good on the specials. Salads have carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, onions though on iceberg lettuce. The roles are similar to red lobster. The asparagus side for $1 more is awesome as are the garlic baby potatoes. We had the twin lobster tails. A little on the small side for the price, but the flavor of a baked lobster tail is so much better than a steamed or boiled. With the $15 off coupon, the price was right. Like any place these days, they have had staffing issues. Just got a new hostess, but I saw 4 skilled waitresses, got our drinks and food promptly. That was much better than in the past and the only reason we haven't been by sooner.
We came here because there was little to no wait when driving by after our first choice didn’t pan out. The service was terrible. My family’s food came out 10 minutes before mine. When I finally saw our server to tell her, she went to the back. Came back out with my food. Said the guy that brought the other dinners out forgot mine. Then it was another 10 minutes to see our server to get refills. Then she refilled my sweet tea with unsweet. Absolutely sinful to a good southerner like myself. The food itself was actually alright. I was given a generous portion of fish and shrimp in the fried basket.
This restaurant was okay, but certainly could have been better. We had the loaded fries for an appetizer. Those were pretty good. My stuffed lobster was pretty good as well other than the lobster itself bring overcooked. I did not enjoy the side of mixed veggies. They were very oily and overcooked. Similarly, I didn’t enjoy the biscuits or lobster bisque. But the worst thing of the meal was seeing my husband’s whole lobster cracked open to reveal it had not been properly cleaned out prior to cooking. The second I saw that, my appetite was gone. Our sever was nice, and the sweet tea was excellent. Kids enjoyed their French fries and macaroni&cheese. But overall, this restaurant was one and done for us.
Our date night started by walking into this charming restaurant. The decor was lovely and we were immediately greeted by our amazing server.Jessie. He sat us at a booth and took our drink order. I ,of course, ordered water and a dirty martini. We then asked for a dozen raw oysters and a cup of lobster bisque. The oysters were large and delicious and the bisque was amazing. Jessie made us feel comfortable with the fact I never know what to order and gave us the space to talk and enjoy our evening. Karl ordered the Lobster pot and I ordered the trio. I felt that the tilapia topping was a little dry and if the had brushed it with the beer butter sauce it would have been perfect. Mussels were perfection and the shrimp were devine. Karl absolutely loved his dish that he ate until he just couldn't. From the service we received from Jessie to the incredible chef in the kitchen this is definitely a place you should put on your list.
Was celebrating with a lobster dinner…what a mistake to choose this place! F for service…D for food. Overcooked and not at all like the menu had pictured or described! 1 king crab leg…$70!!! The champagne was literally sour and had no effervescence…flat! Lobster bisque cold…not warm but cold. Frozen calamari… iceberg lettuce in a bowl for salad…seafood overdone with a ton of Old Bay seasoning! Ugh! Save your money…won’t ever be back!
Our waitress made our evening delightful her name is Christie I give her five stars I will say we shouldn’t have gone over Memorial weekend as it was extremely noisy but the food was good. The Hawleys
Not fine dining Place is quaint. Food not noteworthy (lobster, steak). Strawberry daiquiri very icey, Corn over cooked. Salad made with iceburg lettuce and a couple of grape tomatoes. Would not eat there again
Some of the best seafood we've ever had! Great service and quaint atmosphere. The pesto clams were awesome and the stuffed lobster outstanding.
