We had striker as our chef. Dude was awesome. He was cracking jokes and threw eggs bits in our mouth. Even gave us a new nickname for our friend. And the other staff was so on top making sure we had refilled drinks and what not. Literally so much food and it was all so good. Highly recommend and highly recommend striker.
Terrible Experience! Poor service from the waiter. The cook seemed to be sick to the point he had to stop cooking, and walk off. Had to ask the cook for sauces. Appetizers came out after our entrées. Then the waiter literally forgot we were there. He knew he had gotten his tip before he had done anything with the 18% Gratuity added. No incentive to provide good customer service. It was like he was lost in space. A lot of customer service improvements needed. I was very disappointed!
This has to be by far THE BEST hibachi place I have been to. The quantity, the taste, the vibe and just everything was a good overall experience. The chef was hilarious and made our experience that much better.
Food was good, large portions and great flavor. The hibachi experience was not what we are used to or expected to see costing them a star. It was a slow week night, but the price was the same for any night so we expected the full experience. Chef was a nice friendly guy as was our waitress. Good place to eat just lacked the showmanship we were expecting.
Enjoyed the food. The sushi has some subtle touches like sesame seeds on rolls that I don't normally get them on. It was good. The hibachi meal was flavorful and I didn't require additional sauces to eat it.The server was wonderful and very attentive. Didn't have a lot of knowledge about the food, but asked and got back to me promptly.
Best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to!! Took my friend, and her kids here today! The staff was awesome! The chef made the kids day, those 2 little girls had an awesome time!! Thank you guys!!! This was their first time going to a Japanese restaurant, I’ve never laughed so hard!!!! Everyone, at this location was super friendly!!! Food was awesome!!! Just can’t say enough about this location! Thanks again!!!!
We have tried most of the Japanese Hibachi -style restaurants in the grand strand and, up until now, Yamato's & Myabi were top choices but, after trying Lil Tokyo, we now believe this to be the best. The chef wasn't the best in terms of enthusiasm, presentation but we have seen this many times so are more concerned about the food which was excellent.

Food was amazing! Lincoln is the best, food is always cooked to perfection and he's entertaining! Service from him and the staff makes the experience memorable. Favorite place for Hibachi in Myrtle Beach by far.
Absolutely do not recommend! Terrible customer service. I called today at 1:00pm and made a reservation for 4 at 6:00pm. Arrived 15 minutes prior to my reservation time and was informed that I would have a 2 hour wait. I inquired why reservations were available if wait times were applicable to reservations. The hostess said "That is just how it's working. People are being sat before us and we are short staffed." I asked to speak to a manager; she came and wanted to know what the issue was. I had informed her that I made a reservation and I would be required to wait for 2 hours. She walked away and talked the the hostess for about two minutes then walked to the back of the restaurant. Still no one had gotten back to me to let me know how the situation was being rectified. Therefore, I told the hostess we would be leaving to eat dinner elsewhere. The hostess was extremely rude through the entire process.
