Server Steph is so rude. Use to love her but will literally never go back. Literally angry that we didn’t write our menu out ‘correctly’. Seemed to get mad we weren’t speaking fast enough. Then got mad at the box. We said yea we need a box. She said “so one” with an attitude? What the hell is your problem? If you can’t handle normal people don’t work in customer service.
My husband and I went there last night. Ordered 6 rolls and multiple nigiri. Sushi and nigiri were amazing. The only complaint I have is it is too hot. It was hotter inside the restaurant than outside. We asked to have a fan that was in close proximity turned on we were told it was broken. We had to leave the restaurant when the sushi came to the table. We advised the waitress it was too hot and could not stay. She agreed it was too hot inside. I have no complaints with the waitress or the food. We did talk to another couple when we were walking to our car who said they did not even order food because it was too hot to eat inside. No one should not have to sweat while trying to enjoy your dinner in a restaurant
Great Happy Hour food and Drinks. I think it starts at 4. You can get some light appetizers and a drink if you are not ready for a full sit down meal
There was nothing good other than the view. Maybe it was a bad night, but the sushi wasn't fresh nor was the wine. We ordered a sushi platter and barely ate any and the server didn't ask why. The patio outside was great. I wouldn't try it again.
Are they under new ownership? Menu is totally different and not as good as I’m used to.
The atmosphere is great relaxing and fun. The table are great high tops. Sushi portions are perfect. Service top notch. We also had hibachi chicken , definitely a thumbs up.
Just. Yum. Excellent food and service. A favorite sushi place at or near the beach. Definitely order the jalapeno bombs!!!
I have sensitivities to dairy and gluten so I avoid them for health reasons. That paired with my somewhat peculiar sushi preferences can make picking out rolls tough at times. But King Kong happily swapped out the cream cheese in my favorite roll of all time (Hurricane) with avocado!! My husband and I have tried a pretty good variety of sushi places since we spend most of the year traveling for his career, but through it all, King Kong has always stayed my #1 favorite!
Sushi was fresh and delicious and so was the salad. The clear soup needed some work, as it had no flavor this visit (usually a hit). Our server was in training but did a great job!
I would normally never get a hamburger and a sushi place but I did and it was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten
