This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was really good and well priced. It is a little farther from the beach but that only means no long waits. The staff were all really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
When we ordered our food, I told the cashier that we were dining in. She said that was fine, but our food would be in to go plates because it was late. My husband asked if we sat on the patio, would someone bring our food. She was said oh yes. We waited and waited. I finally went inside to inquire about our food, to find it bagged up and sitting there. I got it, went outside and we ate. About 10 minutes later, another family came up, ordered their food and sat outside on the patio with us. The waiter BROUGHT OUT their food, and guess what......ON PLATES!!! Of course my husband addressed the cashier who gave some sideways apology. The food tastes very good, but I could've vomited after that.
The food is good but cashiers are something else. I’ve had 2 bad experiences with them within the last month. I was waiting for a pickup while my food was under the heat lamp for almost 40 mins and that’ happened a week or so ago. I let it go but then today I placed an order for delivery to my job and they sent it to my house. I would’ve never of known but I called them after an hour and a half went by and nothing came. I’m so upset, I was really looking forward to eating the food.. Very disappointed.
Super good, fast, and affordable. Spent 40 and fed my family of 4. We loved it and the delivery guy was so nice. I recommend Jimmyz to anyone in the area who is in the mood for great hibachi. Absolutely will dine again!!!
Cheap and good/decent food. Clean enough dining areas but the bathroom needs to be checked often. It always bums me out when I had a nice food that the restroom is disgusting or unusable
The food was just okay. The food looked like it had just been thrown on the plate. The steak was supposed to be medium and it was well done. The rice was different from other Japanese restaurants that I have been to before. No salt on the table. It was kind of busy, mostly takeout. Hostess at check out was nice but I had never been there before, so I wasn't sure how it worked.
Disappointed this visit. We come here every time we vacation at the beach! I love the tuna poke bowl and told the cashier this as soon as I walked in! After ordering 65 dollars worth of food and tipping on my cc I head over to the bowl station so excited! I wait my turn as others are in front of me and when I order my bowl .. no tuna. I think that should have been disclosed up front and I mentioned that to the girl who took my order. ):
Our last visit I was not impressed. The veggies were practically burnt making the meal taste bitter, the teriyaki sauce extremely salty, and it was expensive to boot. 40 bucks for 2 dinner plates and a sushi roll at a fast food "affordable" hibachi place was a little ridiculous. The only thing going for them was the service was good.
I just moved here from Cincinnati I saw a commercial for this place one night with my wife we just ate here and it’s one of the best restaurants we have ever ate at. This is a must eat place if in the area.
Food is generally good but they may need better cashiers. I ordered online and checked in at register and was told my order wasn't ready. Got my drink and waited. And waited. And then noticed people that ordered after me getting their orders. Once it showed down I went back to cashier and see the bag that was up there the whole time is my order. Thanks for the cold food.
