Although I'm not a big middle-eastern food fan, my step-kid is so we went to Jerusalem for dinner. The service was really good as was the food. The quantity of food was more than ample.
We had great service with Luke. Food was very good. We each had a Greek salad, and they are huge! We also had the hummus/baba ghanoush/tahini sampler with extra falafal. Great experience!
First and foremost the service was great. Nicole was our server and she was so attentive, helpful and pleasant. Our future reservations will be with the request to have Nicole be our server. The food was equally as good. Both my spouse and I had the hummus shawarma with mushrooms, an order of falafel and Max’s Israeli salad. The salad was big enough to share and we still had a little left over. On top of the great food and service, they had a belly dancer entertaining the crowd. It made for such a fun night. Lastly, the prices were very reasonable for scratch made food. I told my wife at the end of our meal that they should charge more for how great the food, service and overall experience was. This is an easy choice to return again and again. Great job!!!
This was a great experience. Atmosphere was amazing. Service was good and the food was very good. A little on the expensive side.
If you love traditional and very authentic and fresh Middle Eastern cuisine, you will absolutely love love love Jerusalem Mediterranean Restaurant and Bar! The food was spectacular - all fresh ingredients served up with a beautiful presentation and every bite is just delicious! Ask for Juan for your server! We went to celebrate a birthday and really enjoyed the dinner and belly dancing too! As we are Lebanese, we have a high bar for authentic Middle Eastern Cuisine and Jerusalem nails it! It was definitely a night to remember!
Very good food, nice service, good atmosphere... The food is good but visiting Jerusalem, not all the dishes seem authentic but they all were delicious. Decor is nice too . We were with the kids and I don't recall having kids menu so we got them appetizers but considering the prices of the items on the menu, smaller scale kids menu would be nice.
New place is perfect. Food is fresh and good, service was excellent. If you have not experienced this place, you should!
My husband and I came on a Sunday after noon for a midday meal. It was busy when we got there. We were seated at a booth. We shared the hummus and the dolmas. They were both really tasty, as was the pita bread. My husband had beef shashlik skewers w a garlic sauce and I had chicken schwarma platter w an Israeli salad. We really enjoyed the food. The service was also very good. I have two issues. This is a little pricey and their suggested tip is on the taxed (whopping 11.5%) total, which I ignored. I always tip 20 % if it is deserved, but that is on a pre-tax total. Lastly, this is a very nicely decorated restaurant. I believe this location opened two months ago. When we were seated, the table and seats had food pieces from the previous diners….I just think it should have been a bit more than a wipe of a rag. I would think the table and seats should have been cleaned a little better between customers. Especially for the price you’re paying.
What a great find! The food was excellent and the service timely and friendly! Don’t forget to try the Moroccan tea! Would definitely come back here again!
Beautifully decorated and unique decor. Great service, convenient location. My dish was tasty but probably a time dish. I enjoyed the large bar and the door type windows that open up for an inside outside feel.
