Great place, awesome Motown show their voices, their costumes & their humor was great, all of them are very talented! I loved everything about it, except I wish the show could of went on another hour, 2 wasn't enough for me! The way the owners have it all put together is very well organized. Being on time is so important & I definitely understand why they won't let you in once the show starts. It would be very interrupting for everyone.
We attended the Motown Review show last year in June and had so much fun. The owners are fantastic, and so were the performers. Highly recommend the GTS Theatre on ur next visit to Myrtle Beach.
We arrived 7 minutes late. A female called us 3 minutes before we arrived to let us know that "we should have been on time" and that she will have to ask the 100 people in the room if it is okay to hold the show for us to arrive which was rude right off the start. Said it was too bad but my 2 young children and me and husband can't attend the show. I referred back to the ticket I purchased and said according to the policy on the ticket it states "if late you can enter during intermission". I told her we understand if we have to wait until intermission to enter the show. She then said that there is NO intermission and that she would do me a favor by giving me half of the cost of our tickets in a gift card. I told her I would see her in a minute as I was walking in as we were talking on the phone. When I went in, she said "no we don't have the gift card, it will go to your email!! which would have been nice to mention before I took the time to find parking and walk in. She said that she was doing me a favor by giving me the half credit by gift card to use at their theater (which I am on vacation and won't be coming back in a long while-so a gift card is really pointless). When I mention they should take the incorrect information off their website that you are able to enter during intermission and that I would be writing a review about my experience. The lady said "oh in that case, I am not going to give you a gift card then" and she "was not going to do me a favor any longer". She had a man that was standing up by her and said "this is the show owner and he agrees to not let you have the gift card" who appeared in a dirty black t-shirt, unshaved, and wearing jeans and baseball cap. Looking at the sales policy on their website it says 1/2 price of show tickets for same day cancellations will be given by gift card. So I said you aren't doing me a favor and that it was according to policy and should based on me letting others know about my experience. She said no that it wasn't their policy and they would not be giving me the gift card any longer. While writing this review I see the owner listed is not the man I talked to while at the show (which makes sense based on how unprofessional he appeared). So beware as they are extremely rude, and do not follow their own policies, and will rip you off.
My family and I went to the Motown show. It was a awesome show as always and it keeps getting better. The singers were wonderful and there was never a dull moment. We will be back again next year
After listening to their schedule onthe phone we decided to just go immediately to the Elvis show. But when we got to the venue they were closed. Looking for tickets for next week's show ,GTS listed all shows this week as sold out when they were really dark the whole week and not Changing their phone message.
My husband and I went tonight for our 22nd Wedding Anniversary, we loved it! Lots of crowd interaction, the music was fantastic, and the singers were great. Very enjoyable.
Awesome music, this is our 2nd visit and it was better than the first time. Thank you for a great show tonight!
Excellent show. Good music. Saw the show 2 years ago and it keeps getting better
My husband and I attended the Motown Tribute during the week of 4/4/22. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The performers were awesome. The venue was smaller than expected but it allowed for a more intimate setting. We will definitely attend again when in Myrtle Beach.
My husband and I attended the Friday evening show of Michael Bairfoot's Comedy/Magic. We really enjoyed the show and the venue was nice. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Michael was hilarious. It was an amazing family show that children and adults were both enjoying! We are locals and had never been, we will definitely go back.
