Food was hot and fresh, and our waitress kept our glasses full of water. The portions are super big and leave you feeling satiated. We didn’t spend any time waiting on a table either.Silly me forgot my retainer case and had my retainers wrapped in a napkin at the table. I forgot them and called the restaurant as soon as I realized it. They found them and put them behind the counter for me until I could return to pick them up. The name of this restaurant really attests to how friendly they are.No pictures of the food sadly because I inhaled it before I realized, but really is an awesome place to get good food, large portions, and fantastic service.
We have been here several times as a family. The food is has been consistently good. But this is NOT a one dollar sign restaurant, 2 appetizers and a ice-cream sundae cost $50. Unfortunately the staff was extremely unattenentive and frankly rude from the moment we entered. A large ice-cream sundae for small family was a single scoop of ice-cream and a generous heap of whipped cream. We did not receive the appetizers we asked for but it took so long to receive it we just put in another order for something else, as the portions have dramatically decreased. Our waters and sodas were delivered a few minutes before we left the table. Maybe it's poor training of staff? This was a low point for us in an otherwise very pleasant day, please reconsider another restaurant.
Contrary to their name, the staff was NOT friendly. I understand the 18% gratuity for large parties but when the hostess knows you want to sit close together and purposely seats you as far away from the other half of your party as possible and then has an attitude the rest of your visit is unacceptable to me. I will not go back to this location. The food was basic, nothing special. The dessert is what they’re known for.. the kids loved it! The dessert alone is the reason for the second star.
We haven’t been to a Friendly’s in a long Tim but this one looked so new and inviting and it was! Debbie our server was quite attentive , the tables were cleared of dishes as soon as we were done with them , the food was fresh and came out looking just like the menu photos! The interior is beautiful and clean and it was an enjoyable experience topped off with a sundae of course!
The food from this place is fantastic!! The best clam strips I've ever had!! Will definitely eat here again!! BTW, the ice cream is great as well.
Great food and lots of tables since the dining room is huge. All the good food you would expect. Right on the main blvd which is super convenient.
We came here for dessert. Friendly's used to be around my home town many years ago so we came here as a blast from our past. The prices have gone up and the sundaes have become smaller....but who doesn't love a Friendly's Resee Pieces Sundae. It's the best. And even though smaller, it still tasted just liked I remember from my childhood. I feel like this place is short staffed. The woman who was our server seemed like she was serving way too many tables than what should be fair to her. She was kind and we were not in a rush so it worked OK for us.
We came in a Sunday morning for breakfast. It was busy. We waited about 30 minutes for a table. We reviewed the menu while we were waiting. We ordered food when at the same time as giving drink order.Food still took about an hour to come out. The service was great. Our server was Toniann. The food was delicious. If you're not in a hurry this is a great place to stop for breakfast, lunch, dinner or ice cream.
This place was a good place to have breakfast. The waitress was very courteous and prompt with our orders. The food was good and well worth the prices. Family enjoyed it. Would visit again!
The pot roast Was Incredible with potatoes and gravy and mixed steamed veggies. Substitutes were available. We went back the next meal and repeated same meal with ice cream for dessert. Yes, inflation has hit everyone but you got your money worth. Good food is satisfying and you don't mind the price. It was vacation for goodness sake!
