Fast and good service , good prices, great place to get a bit to eat
Service terrible. Food pretty decentOrdered and after 45 minutes had to grab another waitress because ours was no where to be found. The other waitress explained they were short staffed. After another 10 minutes I finally saw our waitress and had to flag her down. I asked how much longer or else I needed to leave (had a flight in 3 hours). She said they were just waiting on fries. Finally another 10 minutes later food started showing up. Order was not correct and one of the boy's drink was forgotten. She said he didn't order a drink (own your mistake please).Food was actually pretty good but not worth over an hour wait after ordering.Waitress also would drop off a drink, or the correct order and instantly scramble. We didn't even get silverware.Then, for a party of 6 added on an 18% gratuity. This is no where to be found on their menu or website.Very upset with the terrible service and unacceptable wait (with no communication).Food was good but not good enough to ever return.
The food was good. But what they failed to tell us was since we were in a group of eight that they were going to charge us a gratuity tax. Which our bills were not together they were individually separate three different bills. But they still charged each one of us like gratuity tax instead of giving us the opportunity to leave our own tip. Just know that if you're going in. Our server did a good job. I was going to leave her a tip anyways I just would have liked the option to give her a tip myself instead of that option and taken away from me and the restaurant picking the amount given as a tip. Again just the heads up in case you do go there they will do this to you if you're a group.
How unfortunate! Poor Management and No ServiceA couple of years ago, during a family trip to Myrtle Beach we discovered (what we thought was) the best Friendly's we had ever been to. Fast and friendly service, great food, clean environment, and an overall amazing experience.We were so impressed that we knew that we'd be returning to dine in this particular Friendly's on our next visit as it was amazing and within 15 minutes walking distance of our hotel. We returned on a Wednesday morning at 9am. There was no wait and the establishment was fairly empty. We were seated almost immediately by who we now realize was the manager. 15 minutes go by and other than being seated we had not been acknowledged.We decided to ask the host if he could let our server know that we were still waiting. He did and 5 minutes later our server arrived and unapologetically tried to just take our drink orders but we said that we'd also like to order our food as we had ample time to look at the menu.Our server took our orders and we thought "Awesome, FOOD" but unfortunately, food did not come :( 10 minutes go by and we had not received our drinks so we thought it's about time to ask the manager for assistance because it was looking fairly dismal at this point. This is when we discovered that the manager was the person who had shown us to our table.I immediately thought yikes. Typically if you are sat by anyone, the server is made aware of the new customers and then greets the customers and asks for the drink orders. So obviously a manager would be very aware of this as it is commonplace.When we expressed our frustrations we were met with confusion and a dismissive tone. The manager stated that there were different sections for each server....I looked just as confused as the rest of my family and even more so than you, the reader.At this point I decided to call it and make the decision to leave. Again there were no apologies, no resolution, and just a complete lack of care or understanding that the situation could have been addressed and handled in some manner, but was not.At this time I would not recommend anyone dining here because there is a chance that you could be ignored. But if you like to gamble, are not hungry, or just want to spice things up and get your blood pumping on an empty stomach, THIS is the Friendly's for you!To the credit of the rest of the establishment, other people (who were seated before and after us were in fact seated and greeted and some were even eating before we NEVER got water) so even without proper management some people still did their jobs. I think that with proper management, this place could be a wonderful place to eat again as it is very convenient to most of the resorts and hotels.I do highly recommend Mammy's Kitchen if you want amazing and warm service as well as tasty food and smiling faces. I will be posting a glowing review for such an amazing establishment.

Stopped in while visiting the area!! Food is amazing! Had the brisket and it melts in your mouth. Onion rings where perfect just right amount of breading! Service was amazing! Everyone works together! In the area definitely place you want to stop and try!
This was about three weeks ago. Husband and I leaving out from hotel across the street decided to get something to eat from here. Big mistake not only they got my order wrong I saw the food and was discussed on how it looked everything was watery especially my eggs. (Wish I took that picture) It was all in the bag all over the tray wetness. So, I took it back in to get my money back and Chris the manager I believe that's his name refused to give me a refund and told me he couldn't do that. Then said he would have another made. I waited about another 15 mins and the Manager Chris came out and said here is your order and SAT MY FOOD ON THE COUNTER INSTEAD OF GIVEN IT IN MY HANDS. HE WALKS AWAY NOT A WORD. I had to stop him to ask him to give me butter, cheese, and utensils. The Manager was nice nasty and that's not the way to run a business when your team messes up. The cooks were standing in the opening in the back on their phones talking than working. Chris the Manager said nothing. Needless to say I didn't eat the food cause I didn't trust what and how is was prepared the second go around. The Manager made me feel uncomfortable to want to eat my food. $20 waste. It was okay, the portions were small, for the price i paid , but the food tasted ok and the staff was nice
Not many restaurants open at the time we went - March 2022. Friendly's was the closest. Staff very friendly; our server in particular. She helped us with our choice of dinner and saved us some money, by pointing out a combo. Food was good and we were happy with our choice.
Staff were extremely pleasant and eager to serve your needs. Food was absolutely fantastic and the sundaes are to die for❤
