I typically only write a review if it is a positive experience. However, our experience at this restaurant was unacceptable! We are local to the area and have been going to this restaurant for YEARS. We know the food and know what to expect. All my husband wanted for his birthday was Lobster from Flamingo Grill, NEVER AGAIN! The first lobster that came out had absolutely no flavor and almost had a chemical taste. We both work in the Hospitality Industry so we understand food waste and food costs and felt terrible to send it back, but for $30+ dollars we had to. The taller Dino (owner) stopped by our table and touched the lobster and said "oh yeah this is way overcooked I'll get you another one". A new lobster was brought to our table by a food runner and it tasted the exact same way! Again, we've been coming to this establishment for years and we know what the lobster typically tastes like. At this point we just didn't want it because it was truly that bad. My husband felt awful for wasting two lobsters, but they were simply not edible! We understand things like this happen; especially now with food product and shortages but it's what happened next that is making me leave a review. The shorter Dino (owner) proceeded to come to our table and berate my husband about the lobster! He said lobster does not have flavor and he's been serving the same lobster for 40 years. My husband apologized that he wasted the lobster, but again told him we're locals and have been coming for years and know what the lobster tastes like and this was not it! He then yelled that "YES YOU WASTED TWO OF MY LOBSTERS! LOBSTERS DON'T HAVE A TASTE THAT'S JUST HOW THEY ARE!” We were so taken aback by his UNACCEPTABLE behavior! When we informed him that we were told we weren't the first costumers to complain tonight and that something must be wrong with the Lobsters he stormed away to the kitchen. Since they have an open kitchen we could see him screaming at our poor waitress! I couldn't believe what I was watching. Our waitress came back to our table almost in tears and said she thinks she's going to be fired. I felt so bad for her, NO ONE should be treated that way! It is was not her fault that the lobster was either bad or terribly overcooked. To see an owner speak to his employee like that was DISGUSTING! We will NEVER step foot in their establishment again. The food not being good this time we could have look past, but being screamed at by the owner and then watching him scream at his employee not once, but twice is something we will not support! Think twice before giving this business your money. They have been around for many years, but I think it's time the older owner hangs up his hat and lets other takeover. He clearly shouldn't be interacting with customers or employees for that matter. The rest of our food wasn't as good as it used to be either.

I generally never leave reviews, but I felt it too important not to leave one. Keep on driving past this place. The food is under seasoned and over priced and some dishes were just horrible. We ordered the sampler appetizer that included their famous lobster bites. There is no lobster in them. The texture is best described as jelly fish. As a person who grew up in the New England area when you see lobster you expect Maine lobster. I found out from another reviewer that it is slipper lobster. The steaks was cooked well, but had no seasoning. But at least you could add your own salt and pepper. The waitress was in a bad mood and provided poor service. Will not return and recommend you don’t go.

Our server was great - very attentive and friendly. The food was good up until the main meal. Appetizer was delicious and so was the salad. My husband ordered a NY strip (medium) and a well done strip was served. I ordered the grouper special and it was burnt and over cooked. We were really disappointed with our meals and will not return.

The atmosphere was great but the food was NOT! We got the prime rib and it was very low grade. We like our prime rib medium rare and while it was mid rare it was very tough and hard to chew. We got a Moscow Mule and Old Fashion for drinks and they were terrible. They put sprite in my husbands old fashion. They also have plastic shields up between each table, which is fine but they weren’t locked at the bottom and would hit yours or the other tables heads constantly. Overall, not a pleasant experience and for what you pay it was absolutely not worth it. We will not be coming back. We were so shocked by their reviews. I literally have written 1 other bad review in my entire time in Trip Adviser because I know how important reviews are but I felt that this needed to be stated on here.

My family has been in MB for almost a week now and have been disappointed in the food until we ate at Flamingo Grill. The ambiance was nice and the service was excellent. We started off with an appetizer of fried oysters and they were very fresh and the best seafood we have had so far. For our main course, we all had various steaks (NY strip, prime rib and steak cagney). They were cooked to perfection and actually had flavor. I highly recommend this place.

The atmosphere/decor was great! Very busy night...visited on a Saturday. We ended up sitting at the bar because of the wait. The bartender was great and we felt like the service was as good as sitting at a table. We had the bang bang shrimp which was delicious and the red snapper which was also good. The she crab soup could have been a little more flavorful. Definitely would go back again! Prices were great too!

Love the atmosphere and service. Food was fantastic! Scallop pasta was awesome and well as the grouper Oscar. Would definitely recommend!

The atmosphere was very well done, think 1950s Flamingo Hotel in Vegas. Lots of art, fish decor, pictures of old movie stars and lots of low key pink and green neon lights. Our server was excellent his name was Aaron . The food was superb. First we had the Greek style Calamari it was tender and delicious. For our main courses my wife had the Flounder Cagney, I must mention there was a large Picture of Jimmy Cagney the actor on one of the walls, I had the Grouper topped with crab meat. Our food was excellent and cooked to perfection. We will be back next time we are in town.

Good food -great service- Aaron was our server, very pleasant and efficient. Food was very good, had filet and lobster tail. Good value.

Excellent food! Excellent service, too! The decor of this place is fantastic and very interesting...... lots of museum quality artifacts throughout the restaurant. Love the lobster bites! I think they have the best She Crab Soup I've ever eaten, too!
