Hands down best restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The food is perfectly executed. The service is 5 star. The restaurant is quaint and quiet. The Food is unparalleled. I ordered the Mountain River elk chops with wild mushroom and bone marrow pudding. Without a doubt one of the top 3 meals I have ever had. Wife had the grouper special and again tremendous. Kids had the bison meatloaf. Best they ever had. I have been coming here for a few years now and assure you it is the best fine dining in Myrtle Beach.
The good: Pork belly app was awesome, porterhouse for 2 cooked perfectly (med rare), grand marnier creme brulee was awesome, smoked manhattan fantastic The not so great: loud, dark atmosphere, special âperigeuxâ sauce tasted just like worcestershire and was served cold! The completely unacceptable!: $180 for porterhouse steak for 2âno price listed on special $2 charge for âbig rockâ (ice cube) $8+ credit card service fee (never charged that at a restaurant) Bottom line. Good food, but a complete ripoff! Never again

Everything was good to very good until the check arrived. Steak was excellent, service very good. Who ADDs 3% for using a credit card (Iâve seen discounts for cash in other places) and a $1 charge for a large ice cube? Our check was over $300! And the owner wouldnât come out.
Food and our waiter were great! We had the filet, crabcakes, asparagus, wine, ceasar salad and baked potato casserole. The on line and restaurant menus are different, so just know that when you dine there.
