I absolutely love this breakfast spot. They have lots of vegetarian friendly options and the servers are all really great. We've been here twice so far and both times the food was delicious and service speedy & friendly.

First time coming to Famous Toastery, and I have to say it was an all around great experience. The food was on point, service & cleanliness was perfect, they brought our 2 yr. old daughters food out first, and the check wasn't bad at all. Will definitely be visiting again and recommending to others. Over all 5 star experience for my self.
Very impressed with the food here. It was delicious! The staff was pleasant and courteous. So many healthy choices and you can add lunch sides with your breakfast if you don't want to be that healthy ?... I had Mac & Cheese with my eggs Benedict...YUMMY. This is a great place to add to your list of "must try" breakfast stops while you are in Myrtle Beach. Enjoy!
Congratulations to Tim McGinnis, Famous Toastery Owner in Carolina Forest and his staff, for just being voted "First Place for Best Lunch" in the Carolina Forest Chronicle Readers' Choice Awards, April 29, 2022!We are very familiar with Famous Toastery and in my humble opinion the restaurant also serves up the best breakfast in Carolina Forest and beyond!Tastiest bacon ever, nice plump scrambled eggs and old-fashioned Breakfast Potatoes are my favorites. All their breakfast and lunch menu selections are delicious and a cut above the competition. Service is good and the restaurant is impeccably clean.I could critique practically every item on the Famous Toastery menu and give all the food rave reviews. Don't just take my word for it though, enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch and see for yourself.Famous Toastery also has a good selection of brunch type mixed drinks with a fruity flair on their menu for your pleasure. First time in. Pleasant ambiance. Very nice staff, very social and enjoyable to talk to. Food was very good. The mimosa flight was exceptional, just a great addition to lunch for the table to sample! Had tuna melt, burger, both were very good.
I was a regular at this restaurant since they’ve opened, but the last time I went I was very disappointed to find a bug in my food. I was not going to write this review being that this has never happened before, food had always been great and place very clean. But after it sent me to the doctors from a gastrointestinal infection I had to write it. I was nearly done with my omelette when I saw the bug, the owner was made aware and was very apologetic. I was grossed out but didn’t think much of it; at least not until I was at the doctors with a gastrointestinal infection. It’s been over a week and my stomach is still messed up. The bug most likely came from the (unwashed) spinach that was in the omelette. Just keep an eye out, especially if you have anything with spinach.
Good variety of dishes and brunch drinks. Trendy vibe. Great service that I will go back for; all of the servers helped each other to make every guest have a great meal. It was busy in the middle of the morning in the middle of the week so expect to wait on weekends.
We had heard such good things about Famous Toastery! We were in the area and decided to give it a try. Won't make that mistake again! We were seated by a very pleasant member of the staff (good thing + column). The first server that greeted us at the table was very friendly and explained that everyone one the staff worked as a team (another good thing in the + column) EXCEPT THAT DID'NT HAPPEN! Our order was taken...okay...coffee arrived - really not good! Food arrived - okay....then the service WENT AWAY! No one came to check to see if our food was okay! No one came to ask if we would like a refill on our coffee and tea! The bill was left when the food was brought out and NO ONE even came to check if we needed anything else or if we were ready to pay. Had we been dishonest people we could have just walked out the door and NOT PAYED! So incredibly unacceptable! Bottom line...food was solo...SERVICE WAS AWFUL. Never say never, but we will never go back!
Perhaps with all the hype for this place it set our expectations very high for a breakfast that would take us to another level, but what left us wondering why FT has this reputation when it is nothing but ordinary. The food was simply adequate, nothing special when spending about $40 for breakfast for two (omelets, coffees, and tip) it certainly is not a value by any means. Perhaps this is why there are no prices on their online menu, be sure to look at the order page to see pricing. The service was good, servers were attentive. While this establishment is close to home we don't see returning there as there are many other alternatives for breakfast in the area that offer more for your dollar and more of a hometown atmosphere offering the same menu and more.
