Had dinner here for the first time last night. Thought we would try it out. The restaurant is decorated nicely, clean and spread out. The service was excellent, and while the starter salad was excellent, the main meal was very average at best.My wife had flounder and the first piece of flounder was poor. She could not eat it. It was not fresh and probably had been sitting under a light. I believe the waitress realized it was not good and brought her a 2nd piece that had obviously been freshly cooked. I had Salisbury steak. It was very average. The food did not taste homemade and for being a new restaurant, our first impression was not good. There are much better places to eat in Surfside beach. I don't see us going back here.
The staff was good. Very nice and attentive. However the food was disappointing. The portion sizes were a bit small compared to other restaurants that do the 1 Meat and sides menu. The lima beans and corn were bland. Definitely needed some seasoning. Biscuits were dry and hard. The Mac and cheese was good and the pork chop was delicious. The fried chicken was a major disappointment. Over all my group of 5 would have rather went somewhere else.
Good selection of breakfast items to choose from. Everything we had was very tasty. Coffee was always full. They were very busy but were very orderly and efficient in handling all of the patrons. Will definitely go here again for breakfast the next time we visit.
Staff is super friendly! Fried chicken was really tasty. I wasn't a fan of the Mac n cheese as it was baked but wasn't bad. Cornbread is yummy and a hint of sweetness.
Amazing wait staff however I ordered the 1 meat 3 sides I got the pulled pork it was really pink which I have never seen before and had a watery juice coming out when I was eating it my biscuit was rock hard almost couldn't bite it. My sides were Mac and Cheese it tasted really weird really funky and my coleslaw was HORRIBLE Ive had sweet and regular coleslaw but this one tasted horrible no flavor what so ever I had to spit it out. My husband had the Turkey and Dressing with Mash Potatoes and Gravy with String Beans and fried okra. The okra was so soggy I couldn't hardly hold it. We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and they were frozen to the point they actually were stuck together. Again Great Service from wait staff Quality of food was horrible had to send it back (mine) and get a small regular salad. Not worth the $42 something we paid. WILL NOT GO BACK

My wife and I had a nice breakfast. Food and service were good. Would be 5 stars if they poached eggs. I am an eggs Benedict guy so poached eggs is a big deal for me. If I wasn’t an eggs Benny person this would be my new go to breakfast place as I live on surfside/Myrtle border.Pancake was the best I’ve had in this area. Previously I liked Donald’s or omega. These pancakes were nice crisp but fluffy. My wife said yum we she took a bite and she doesn’t eat pancakes often.
