Food was authentic and delicious. Service was great and fast. Gratuity was added into the bill..
I went for lunch today and ordered the carnitas… that was the best pork carnitas I’ve eaten at a restaurant - good quality meat, lean, not fatty, and cooked exactly how I like it. I might’ve ordered the churros too ?. Fantastic atmosphere and decor. I think the building used to be a nightclub. I’ve been to Myrtle many times and never been inside. Highly recommend.
AMAZING, that is the easiest way to explain my recent experience at El Cerro on 29th Ave. I just want to say thank you so much Yvonne, you and your staff went above and beyond to make my daughter-in-laws surprise 40th birthday party excellent. The service we all received was top notch, the food was all served at the same time for 32 people and delicious. We could not have pulled this off without all of you. Thank you again and we will be to see you all again soon!
We enjoyed our visit to El Cerro. It's right near Broadway at the Beach with usually little wait time for seating. The service was really good with a waitress that had the friendliest personality. The food is delicious, and the margaritas are excellent. They do automatically add 20% gratuity to your bill. We like this restaurant whenever we want Mexican in Myrtle Beach.
This El Cerro Mexican Bar & Grill location in Myrtle Beach is a great place to go for delicious and flavorful Mexican food and drinks. I really like their menu and everything that they have available here on their menu. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here. Well worth the visit.
Took about a half hour for server to approach table. Falsely stated that they no longer have happy hour, even though they still have happy hour. All servers standing around talking not doing anything. Place was empty, now I understand why!
This rating would have been a five had it not been for a piece of hair found in it. However, it was made right and the new dish was so tasty I could have had seconds. The salmon was moist and mash potatoes and sauce were flavorful. I would recommend it.
We all ordered different dinners and all of us complained that the food was totally tasteless. I ordered Enchiladas and they were cold. They were also tasteless. The young lady server was doing her best and service was prompt but the food was so bad we all agreed never to come back
I really wanted to give these guys a better rating but I can't. My wife has MS and doesn't walk very well. When we asked the hostess if a ramp was available she stated "No". No other options were given.After looking around when we finally got seated (rough walk with disabled wife), I noticed electric lifts. Why was that not an option? Those lifts I assume are for disabled patrons. If not then the restaurant is Non-ADA compliant.Everything else was good just a little lax on service as well. Great food though.
