We had 2 Greek salads and a veggie pizza. Delivery was on time as promised. Salads were delicious (since we baked on the beach all afternoon). Pizza was tasty but the crust was as thin as tissue paper. Had to eat the vegetables out of the box with a fork. I think they can do better and know how to do better.
Whole family loved it. I got the Carbonara and the flavors were spot on to what my Uncle makes. (he’s from Sardinia, Italy.) However he doesn’t use cream which took me a couple bites to get used to. Understandable why they use it though! Was delicious. Son loved the pizza as well. Ate on it the next two days ha.
We are local. We have eaten here many times and have loved it. Service and food are normally great. Last night, we brought our guests (6 people total) there for dinner and the service is AWFUL. We were there for 2 hours. I had to flag the waitress down to order our dinner after we were all done with our appetizers. Food was great, but another waitress (Rosemary) started helping us with refilling our drinks. Rosemary was wonderful. The reason for the 3 stars was the service. If you go there ask for Rosemary she's the best!!!
I ordered online and got takeout pizza. We got a pepperoni pizza and a plain cheese pizza. Ordering was simple enough and picking up was simple as well. The pizzas themselves were really nice. The cheese was a good mixture and it was gooey. The crust was nice and thin, with the right crispiness. The spread of the pepperonis on the pepperoni pizza was… interesting. The only “complaint” I have heard from my family was that that it was very greasy. The price of the pizza was also a little higher than other local places, but we had never tried it before so we wanted to check it out. All in all I thought it was very good. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is nice, I would like to come and check it out sometime.
Surprisingly very good pizza since New Jersey/ New York residents can be very picky. Crust was thin and crispy. Sauce had the right balance of flavors and ingredients. Ducatis had a very extensive menu selection. They sell only wine and beer but, no spirits. Service was attentive and courteous.
I’d actually say 4 1/2 stars The only reason I don’t give it a five is the pizza was subpar and the fettuccine Alfredo was kind of bland but I got the lobster ravioli and it was great! Nice place even if it’s in a strip mall area.
We have been going here for so many years. The food and service has always been great. Recently, each time we go, the food has been getting worse. BUT, we keep trying to give them another chance. Unfortunately, last night was the last chance. My husband ordered Linguine and Clam Sauce. Now normally when we have gone to Italian Restaurants, there is more pasta than anything. Well, there was barely any pasta, and NO flavor at all!!! I do not necessarily like garlic, but not even a hint of garlic was in his entree, it was all water. We never speak up but last night we had to. Families are struggling to pay their bills and if you are fortunate to be able to go out to a have nice dinner with friends. it should be enjoyable. They definitely should have taken my husbands meal off the bill, you should never leave an Italian Restaurant hungry.
We come to Myrtle Beach every year to play golf and this will now be a regular stop. Our server, Betty, was amazing and everyone loved the food. See you next year!!!
I have ordered fro Ducatis many times in the past, but today's experience was terrible. I ordered a take-out stromboli with beef, bacon, and mushroom. I was going to eat half for lunch and take the other half home. The half I ate at the office was nothing but raw dough with melted cheese and a little meat. Maybe 2 mushrooms that appeared to be old. I was very disappointed!!
We had the VERY BEST Margherita and Supreme pizza ever! The flavors are exquisite! Everything is so fresh.... wonderful. Pam was pleasant, and so accommodating and helpful. Then Nick stopped by our table and confirmed our thoughts about the freshest ingredients. We'll definitely be back! Dennis and Patty Johnson
