Buffalo Shrimp were pretty tasty along with the Mushroom and Swiss burger. Had a okay time but the drinks were a little heavy on the alcohol.
We originally came, thinking we were going to partake in tacos. But unfortunately, it was not on the menu. Even though, when we looked online, it showed tacos! Nonetheless, it was okay! He ordered the Draft burger with cheese, while I ordered the turkey wrap. Nothing to be super excited about. The food served its purpose.
We went to this restaurant twice due to being conveniently located near our hotel. The first night we had great service from Margaret, and enjoyed the salt & vinegar wings and seafood platter with some beers, which is why I awarded some stars. We decided to get takeout a second time towards the end of our stay ordering two Turkey wraps which were very underwhelming. We asked for “fresh fruit” with both entrees: one came with fries unfortunately, and the “fresh fruit” was a dole fruit cup… please do better, Drafts.
Location was good but they closed early due to no staff. Also most nights only had one server to serve although the bar is small there still should have been another server.
Enjoyed our week here. Ate at Drafts when we first arrived. Met LHoussean. He was great. Food was good. Service was great. Turns out we got to know Houssean more as the week went on as he was always the one tending bar at Coconut Willy’s. He did an amazing job at handling the crowd by himself. As is the norm these days, they are very short staffed at Westgate. We are on vacation so we aren’t in a hurry and we appreciated the opportunity to get to know our bartender and learn about his family. Thank you for a great week and a chance to make a new “hillbilly” friend!
When we first arrived, we were told to sit wherever only to be asked to move, which we did. We have ordered two beers and everything seemed okay, but once we ordered it took forever to get our food or any service. They were not crowded at all, but our server acted like we were a nuisance. The atmosphere was not fun at all. Maybe he was having a bad night, but either way…we won’t go back. It was Sunday, so perhaps he was tired.
Delicious burgers and Philly steak sandwiches. The drinks are not bad either... had the Ukraine Lemonade with blueberries and fresh mint and a vodka with cranberry. So convenient if you are staying at the Westgate resort too.
We had a party of 8 that arrived at 9:00 and they seated us fast. We waited 45 minutes for our drinks and no one ever brought them. Waiters and waitresses kept looking at us but never checked up on us. We got impatient and decided to leave. The woman who was our waitress was not the best.
Hussain was great .. we made friends with him over the days we stayed at the resort. Funny, and overall great bartender.
Ask for Hussein! He is the best Bartender at Westgate Resorts. Very friendly and helpful guy! We can't really vouch for the food but if you need anything at all, Hussein will take care of it. Thanks again! From Ron and Jennifer
