This place definitely lives up to its name, man what a waste of my time, I came out here and only to find out the neighborhood is terrible, and the beach water is disgusting.I tried to make the best of this so I went to eat at the boardwalks restaurant called Dirty Don's, I ordered their seafood sampler that included everything.The oysters were not fresh, and the food was not cooked properly.1 sausage was not room temperature but fridge cold, while another was hot.The only way this can happen is if your food is microwaved... not steamed at all like they claim.. I returned it and left... save your time and go somewhere else. If not atleast you can't say you didn't know.... byyyeeee
This place was absolutely delicious! The street style corn could stand on it's own! We will be back before this trip is over and would recommend this place to anyone! I got grilled fish tacos, my husband and son both got baskets, one shrimp and the other fish. Everyone left full & happy.
Super picky kids who have only ever eaten frozen popcorn shrimp and they devoured theirs! Fresh, perfectly fried foods, and great service!
We own a timeshare at the Marriott Ocean Watch and have been going to Myrtle Beach every year for about 15 years now. When the weather is lousy, my wife an I go Oyster Bar Hopping, or we used to. After going to quite a few of the local Oyster Bars, we have determined that Dirty Don's is the best. We go there every year. It's exactly what you expect from an Oyster Bar - good beer, great oysters, friendly service, and a good menu, although I am disappointed that they no longer have clam chowder on the menu. I always get the fried clam strips and we share oysters. We've brought friends there with us and they enjoyed it too. Naturally, we'll be back this year in September on our next visit to Myrtle Beach.

We sat outside for drinks and appetizers. The waiter was great and so was the food!!
Delicious food & drinks, nice staff. Kim R. is one of the BEST bartenders! Me & my husband sat at the bar to eat since there was a long wait, but I'm glad we did. We ordered the Lobster bites, garlic parmesean oysters, crab legs & extra hushpuppies. Drinks we ordered a pitcher of the Denty Helmet. Then I ordered the Tequila Sunrise to test out Kim R. skills & she didn't disappoint. Most places mess up the Tequila Sunrise. Definitely coming back on the next trip to Myrtle Beach.
It was mediocre at best. We live here and have had some of the best oysters around but these were not up to par. Our server was awesome but the lobster mac for 16 bucks was a very small portion. Will try again to order something different.
We really enjoyed dirty Don's. We went in the off season so it was laid back and not very busy. Their raw oysters were great and so we're the crab legs. Prices were fair and service was really good. We just moved here so Gus gave us some of the local info. The decor is beachy and cool like you'd expect for a beach bar. This is probably going to be one of our new go to's.
