Phenomenal sandwiches, very prompt delivery and some of the kindest employees I’ve dealt with. The bread was SO good, the food was hot and well packaged. Definitely worth the hype. We got the Gamecock and the Kickin chicken.
I've had alot of Sangwich's in alot of cities, but this place takes it. The jumbo Beach Boy ( like an Italian) may have been the best I've had. The bread, the meats, the construction and sheer size of this Sangwich was amazing. If your in Myrtle Beach you have to try it!!
I used to work down by surf side location. Always loved the food and atmosphere. I was happy to see them open up north Myrtle. Hands down had a great meal and great service. I took my wife because I always told her I never had a bad experience. She was blown away by the taste and quality of food. We had the sweetest server and made our experience that much better!! Please don’t change a thing!!! Good luck and I’m sure it will be successful!!!!
Ate here for first time on 4/26/22. Couldn't be seated outside even though there was room. Inside was a little dark and quite noisey. I ordered the cheese steak with potato salad as a side since fries were $1.49 extra. Potato salad was supposed to be home made. Tasted ok, but not home made. Roll tasted fresh baked and was good. Host and server were very friendly and service was very good. Prices were moderate but sandwiches should include fries as as one of the side choices for the prices. Also note, entrance is from side road and not the street front. A little tricky.
The food, service, and atmosphere are good! The rye they use for the Rueben sandwiches is not very good. It didn't have much flavor or a good solid texture. The meats and sauces were good. Dagwood's charges an extra 4% if you use a credit card. Also, when you pay cash, they just give you the bills back not the change. Not good. We didn't want make a fuss about it, but that is just wrong. In addition, we were surprised there was an upcharge ($2.29) for regular French fries. French fries are usually considered a standard side, not one with an upcharge.
My wife and I had a Caribbean and a chicken sandwich. Both sandwiches did not have much meat on them. The bun had all the sauce in it with the meat and cheese on top. The restaurant was very noisy. It was almost impossible to talk. I have hearing aides and it made it worse. On top of that when you get the bill 4% was added on for use Ins a credit card. There are a lot of other places on the beach to get the same food at the same price and enjoy your meal.
For a family of 6 this is an awesome dinner choice. My family and I really enjoyed the fried pickles and Smokin Joe Frazier fries. This place has awesome service. Our waitress Cam was so nice and sweet and we had no problems with her!
We stopped in for a late lunch upon the recommendation of friends. I’m not sure why they thought this place was special enough to suggest it to us. It’s very dark and noisy. Our waiter had zero personality. Our simple order of two cheeseburgers arrived with no cheese. The waiter offered to bring a slice of cheese to the table… The food was just ok. Our lunch visit gave us no reason to return again in the future.
Connected to Bumsteads, Dogwood has the best deli sandwiches in the are. The menu is big and the staff is great. You can't go wrong here.
Chicken Salad on a Tomato Basil Wrap with the Pasta Salad as a side! Would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Word of advice tho, it's chilly in there so bring a small sweater ? Fast, efficient service as well! I am a local but not on this side of the beach but will make several return visits!
