Loved this place. The sushi and service were top notch, the yellow tail sashimi I had was perfectly prepared and cut and the tuna tataki roll was absolutely to die for. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.
Just as good as it’s always been. I first come here during their grand opening week but later moved away from MB years ago and was so excited to see they’re still around. I was so happy they’re still able to make the ginger and lemon grass martini to satisfy my years long cravings.
We were here last month during the Taste of the Commons festival with family... We walked up and we were very lucky they were slower than most places. Our server was amazing and gave us fabulous suggestions. The curry was enough to feed a family of 4! The drinks were well made. The sushi was delicious- the roll with lemon was so unique it tasted like summer! We will absolutely be back
OVERPRICED and food is sub-par!Service was good but the noise level is out of control but low rating is because of the food quality for the price. The men making the sushi were not Asian and it was VERY apparent they are not trained properly because they gave me Tuna sashimi pictured below! Anyone who knows about sushi should know that the "white" lines in the Tuna is connective tissue and is VERY chewy. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone looking for sushi or any other Asian food.
A truly ridiculous restaurant. No cash allowed! No menus. Get the menu on your cell phone but they were having a little trouble with the wifi so no on-line menu. Asked the waiter what the price was but he did not know and he forgot to ask the next several times he returned to the table. After reading the menu on the waiter's phone we ordered some gyozas and were so shocked by the truly ridiculous size of the potstickers. Just a joke of a restaurant.
Excellent sushi and I was surprised they had pho. Being a sushi freak has gotten me into the top 10% of Asian restaurant reviewers on Google, so I've certainly had my fair share. This was very fresh, and well made. What made it an even better experience was the staff. The two very nice ladies were highly attentive and super sweet. I really enjoyed it!
Beautiful, modern decor with lively customers. The restaurant is a bit loud. It's not a good idea for a first date...There are a few vegan options for rolls and fried rice, but not for noodles.Solid presentation.
Luke provided excellent service to us on our first visit. The Thai Green Curry sounded great to me, but once we told Luke that I was vegetarian he went ahead and followed up with the chef. Turns out that a component of the dish (even if you get the tofu protein) might involve chicken broth. If I had no other option in a pinch, I would overlook this detail - but Luke came back not only with that information but with the vegan menu. I went with the Spicy Udon instead, because I like to let restaurants know with my vote that there are patrons like me who value fully non-meat options. The Spicy Udon did not disappoint- I don't have a high spice tolerance but this was just enough to be pleasant. Hubby had the Pad Thai, which he can never resist if it's on a menu, and he was happy with it. Just know that they didn't ask for spice level, so it's not THAT kind of spicy thrill some seek, but he said his was flavourful nonetheless. We also ordered a sushi roll as an appetizer- Super Crunch Roll - and we were pleasantly surprised. It tasted fresh, and itself had a great taste profile along with the sauce it comes with (I always forget to take a picture of the first element of a meal - if it's good, I'm inspired to write a review, so this was that inspiring element!)For drinks, I enjoyed the punch my Nigori Peach Martini had in store, while the hubby's Blackberry Bourbon Fizz was so smooth, it was like having a light soda.We don't normally do desert, but I was curious about the strawberry cheesecake wonton. The strawberries were so fresh it made me tear a little with the combination of the cheesecake and sauce. Easily sharable between two without feeling guilty about overeating. We had a great experience. Ambiance was great and the support staff was also very attentive and polite. Thank you for a great evening meal out!
Husband found this place to try while we were visiting myrtle beach! We came during lunch, and during the off season. It was a beautiful February day! Staff were friendly, food was excellent, and drinks were refreshing. We will definitely come back the next time we’re in this area.
Tried gyoza, fried rice, several types of sushi - everything was excellent. Will definitely eat here again if we’re in town.
