My husband and I visited Chucks for happy hour and loved our experience!! The beef tips were delicious as were the pulled pork sliders! The lounge area is my favorite place for a quaint outing with just the right ambiance. We have already recommended to friends and WILL be back. Our server, Louis was the perfect blend of attentive while allowing us to enjoy our drinks and meal.
25 minute table wait, 45 minutes for food to show up. Medium rare filet is coked well done to the point of it being dry and tasteless. Doubt there will be a fourth time.
Parking lot was full, which is a good sign. We were hungry for a good steak. Visiting N Myrtle. Ordered 2 Filets with Shrimp Scampi. Waited over a half hour for our meals. Heard a nearby server say tickets were 40 minutes behind. We were okay with that. Steaks finally came out and were not hot and lacked flavor. Baked potato was not hot either. Very disappointed to pay $$$$ for a steak that was warm and flavorless.
Great meal! Salad bar, popcorn, nachos and cheese all come with your dinner. One of the best strip steaks I ever had. Definitely coming back next year!
Chucks has been a family tradions for over 20 years. We were so happy to learn it opened back up. Enjoyed our meal as always. So happy to continue our tradition.
I was highly disappointed with my dining experience. We came to Myrtle Beach for a quick vaca and to try a few new places while we are in town. The wait time was an hour and 15 minutes. When a party arrives that’s smaller than your eating party they add them in front of you adding more minutes to you wait time. This caused us to miss the early bird special. Even though we were already there waiting they still wouldn’t accommodate us. Our server Louis C was the absolute worst. Horrible customer service. He snatched the menus when he was collecting them from the table. He wasn’t very attentive. They only good thing he did was add whip cream to the Margaritas. He was however, very attentive to the table behind us. I guess if you’re a little “brown” you get waited on last?? ??♀️??♀️??♀️??♀️ The food wasn’t well seasoned. The drinks are amazing! Shout out to the BARTENDERS!!!! They are the real MVP!!! I would never eat here again.
We always seem to end up in Myrtle Beach for our Anniversary and this is our go-to place to celebrate. Service was friendly and attentive at both the bar and the table. Started off with my favorite key lime martini which was perfect. She made great suggestions on our dinner choices. Salad bar is always cold and fresh. Prime rib was amazing as usual which is always hard to find. We were even treated with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary!
We waits for an hour and a half. We called for reservations but we’re told by recording none available!!! Good food!!!! But wait was horrible
salad bar was good and fresh-also had fresh rolls. The appetizers of cheese (dijon and pepperjack choices) and crackers was a nice touch. We went for the early bird specials- i had a filet mingon and it was super tender melt in the mouth- 7 ounces 30.95. Had a baked potato as well- would have loved to see cheddar and bacon on the baked potato options. my boys loved the ribs but commented that they wished they were saucier- flavor was good tho. My daughter had a urger which looked fresh and of good quality- she ate the whole thing...All in all it was a good dinner- a little on the pricier side but compared to other places out there it is on par- would try again. 4.5 would have been a better rating.
Chucks is where you bring friends for their 1st time in myrtle to impress them. Never have to worry about recommending this restaurant . Your friends will be impressed. Been coming here for years, never had a bad steak, meal, drink etc. Service always great. Amber bock beer is so good. Looks dark, but has a very light mild flavor
