Not very tasty. No sour cream or anything youd expect with sides for fajitas. Peppers in the fajitas mixins weren’t cooked. How this place has good reviews is beyond me.
I ordered take out. 2 enchilada dinners and tacos for my grandson. I am local. The food was terrible. Wet lettuce was placed over the enchiladas so they were mush. Tasteless. Absolutely what little meat was there the majority was wrapped in wet corn tortillas. The ground beef tacos we ordered with just cheese. The beef was so dry, hard and overcooked my grandson could not eat. I have not had such bad Mexican food at the beach since I have moved here and I have lived here for 39 years.
Small place. They bring warm chips and 3 kinds of salsa to the table, with free refills on the chips. Decent selection on the menu. My shredded chicken taco had one lump of chicken that didn't seem shredded at all, but it was tender. Good flavors. Good enough service. Pretty pricey for what I got (the two taco meal).
When you enter you are greeted with a smile and make yourself comfortable atmosphere. The waitress was awesome and attentive to your every need. Will definitely be going back the next time we venture back to south Carolina.Well done staff and especially the chef
We are so happy to have tried this wonderful restaurant. The owner and his staff were hard working and so polite. Our red sangria was freshly made and delicious with fresh fruit. We loved all our food! The chips came with 3 different salsa offerings, our fajitas and chimichanga were generous portions and cooked perfectly. Can't wait to return soon. Thank you Chile Frito.
Truly authentic Mexican food and done freshly. It was amazing. Babe loved his Chimichanga and I loved my nachos. Definitely will be getting the Chimichanga myself next time. Also got the fried ice cream ??. The ice cream part wasn't my favorite but the cinnamon sugar chips and bowl was AMAZING ??
The staff was friendly and my tacos were pretty good but our chorizo queso was absolutely nasty! Nothing but grease, hardly any chorizo and the queso itself just wasn't there due to the amount of grease! Waste of $8!! My refried beans and rice were not appetizing either. Very bland and hard rice. My husband's sandwich had hard and chewy meat. Will not be coming back. Wasn't worth the $50, most ended up in the trash.
Staff was extremely friendly. Food was amazing. The only thing I have to say is when you sit down and they bring chips and ask you if you want cheese with your chips they do charge you $6 for the cheese but don't tell you there will be a charge for it. Other than that everything was great!
Great food, friendly people, portions were larger than most places with good prices. Clean . Will definitely be back soon.
