Food was not that good! Over rated!
We have been coming to SOHO since they were located across the street. We have never had an experience like we had tonight. I can honestly say that I am sad & disappointed with our evening. What once was our favorite special restaurant is no longer that at all. We were prepared for a wait & waited for nearly an hour to be seated. Once seated not one person spoke to us or looked our way from 20 minutes. The “DJ” was unbearably loud. We went downstairs to see if we could wait for another 6 top & we were told it was just too bad and told us to look around & see that they were packed. We left.

Went with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. Our server Danielle took great care of us . The drinks and sushi were really great and we’ll be back again.

I don’t know why this restaurant only has a 2.5 star rating. The food and service was absolutely amazing. We had the crab Rangoon and some sushi for appetizers and we had the surf and turf and ribeye dinner. Food was served fresh and hot and everything was delicious!
The service is not great at all. The food is not near comparable to their location on 21st. The view on the waterway is great though. They need to get the kinks out.
We tried the Soho north to try the Sushi . The quality was poor on the spicy tuna , spicy salmon and shrimp tempura . The service was great the sushi was disappointing . Our bill with tip $ 189.00 which did include two sake each person .
Great place to go If you want to spend $$ and be treated badly. Rude manager. I’ll be spending my money elsewhere in the future.
Horrible management. Food is good, great bartenders, mediocre service but completely rude managers. I have been visiting this location regularly as I live nearby. Tonight we had a very unfriendly server who completely messed up the check and then we were insulted by the so called manager. I usually eat here every week, after tonight I will never return. Apparently the business is so good that they can treat the customers bad. Thanks Ramone. You lost this customer for good. There are much nicer places to spend your money.
