We had a delightful time and the food was delicious!!! We got Rib eye steaks and they were sooo good!!
Excellent service and food! After having subpar dining experiences while vacationing in Sunset Beach, we decided to drive a longer distance to try this Carrabba's location and I must say I am so glad we did. The food was delicious and our waitress was super nice. We truly enjoyed our dinner and how hospitable the staff was towards us. Thank you for an awesome meal!
the quality of their drinks, food and service is very poor and a manager who has long hair is very rude I do not recommend this place in the last year its quality has dropped a lotfor example, the sangria had a lot of fruit like lemon ,lime , strawberries and BlackBerryHere is the photo of how they serve it now and I asked for fruit and they gave me a single lemon
We went with friends for a birthday celebration. We were seated in a timely manner and after a bit got our drinks. We ordered and myself and a friend both ordered filets medium well. They came medium rare and my side of fettuccine had been sitting because it was kind of crusted over. I never got my second side.. I have never eaten a steak before that was hard on the outside and mushy in the middle. The bread however,was good. I now understand why there were not many patrons in the restaurant.
How is that possible you ask? We live in Calabash and are regulars at this restaurant. We’ve found this location to be better than the typical Carrabbas and consistently good. However, last night it was not. As the title says, the food (the mahi special and the veal piccata) and service were excellent! But why two stars? Our table was located in the bar area and we could see the front entrance right outside our window. We watched a person aggressively panhandling right outside the front door. Each time he received money, he pulled out a wad of money from his pocket that would choke a horse and carefully wrap the new bills around it. We even saw restaurant employees going out and giving this guy money. When we left, he loudly and aggressively confronted us too. He was clearly high and/or drunk. This guy is not a homeless person needing help, he is a professional panhandler! I started to bring it to the attention of the restaurant management but the staff was clearly already aware. While I admire the generosity of our community, this is a situation where the police needed to be called. I will return to this restaurant at some point in the future. But if I see him sitting on the bench, I’ll keep going down the road. In addition to this situation, we sat next to a table with shrieking children that were being encouraged by the adults to be loud. That’s not the fault of the restaurant, right? Well, as it turned out, it was friends/family of the host. She made multiple trips to the table and spent almost as much time there as she did working. I know there’s a shortage of help these days and far be it from me to pass judgement on what perks management has to offer to stay fully staffed (free meals for family? Let family hang out in the restaurant during the employee’s shift?). But Carrabba's is not only selling food and service, they are also selling ambiance. And between the panhandler and the shrieking toddlers, we had zero. I would expect this in a McDonalds, but not here.
I've read a lot of the reviews recently, and had to add my own. Yes, they are short staffed at times, this isn't new since everything with Covid people just need to chill and have patience. First off Whitni P, you rock. I'm so sorry it took so long to write this, I lost my receipt of course. *The shimp scampi appetizer was the BOMB.COM. My mom and sister loved their food also. We loved having you as a waitress and hope we can request you again when we come back. Food was amazing as always. I totally recommend getting the Bryan topping on your mashed potatoes, y'all can thank me later. Anyway have manners, tip well, and be patient! You'll have a better meal with a good attitude. Xoxo-

Our first time here. Loved the atmosphere and the food. Service was great even though our server was very busy. We’ll be back.
Dinner tonight was great, the tomato caprese salad was excellent and the stuffed chicken was delicious. Better than both of those was the amazing service from Heather. She was pleasant, engaging and fun, really making this experience wonderful.
The food was great and the service was even better. Heather was the best waitress we have ever had. Not just very efficient but with a great personality. The only suggestion would be to keep the music down. Too loud. We will definitely be back.
