I highly recommend this restaurant!Saw this place on the way to the boardwalk from our condo the night before. Carolina Steak & Seafood was both the best eating experience and the best quality food we had on our trip. With 4 people, we pay $228 at the buffets and the food even at the buffets is not great quality.We were greeted promptly by a very courteous staff. We ordered drinks and an appetizer that four of us were able to split.The meals come with a soup or salad, the soup tasted amazing and the salad was attended on a plate onto a bowl made of long cucumber slices. Presentation and flavor were amazing and we did not even get to the best part yet.We ordered 5 meals for four people, (My daughter was shy about getting the crab legs at market price, so after we all ordered our meals I ordered an extra crab legs dinner so the table could add it on if needed) All the food was incredible and the total bill was LESS than what we pay at the buffets.Our waitress even had an emergency at home and wanted to help us when we were done. She was professional and very customer service oriented the entire meal.I highly recommend Carolina Steak and Seafood for anyone looking for a great food experience in Myrtle Beach.A special thank you to the entire staff.
I stopped by earlier for dinner and was pleasantly surprised to find what looks like an old English pub style bar waiting for me. There was an incredible lady at the bar named Rosemary that told me all about the building. When I asked about the calamari she said they were excellent so I ordered them and a salad. Both were unique, the calamari was the best I have ever had in my entire life. The salad definitely good also and I would happily order it again. I plan on bringing my wife here as soon as we both can make the trip!
We come down to MB every year around this time and this is a must stop restaurant for us. The service is great and the food is tasty. This is our first time trying the brick oven pizza and we were not disappointed. In addition, we got our pictures taken for a very special MB post card in the restaurant. Definitely recommend
The Merrry me chicken was simply awesome. Our kids pizza was equally delicious. Will come back here again. Service was spectacular.
The food was great. The restaurant is the old Cagney's restaurant (Cagney's Old Place) and looks very nice inside. It wasn't very busy, but there was a small group of inebriated golfers that were very loud. There is a lot of seating inside and a large bar.
They have expensive children’s meals. It is not fancy inside but basic seating with the tables spaced out & some booths. The salads are supposed to come with croissants, but we were told they were baking. They never arrived, thus we asked for them to go & enjoyed them the next day. They have wood fired pizzas & the children wanted it & liked it. My daughter & I shared the flounder Oscar which was good but no crab taste and the Caesar salad was excellent. We also got a baked potato which was good. Our service was good but the restaurant is noisy.
Was hit and miss depending on what you ordered, but the grouper was excellent, steaks have good flavor, and loves the all the different add-ons and sauces. Vegetables a little overcooked/steamed or mushy. Mashed potatoes were heavy on the rosemary and could use some salt and garlic, but baked potato was excellent. Salads were exceptional and wait staff was really nice. Took a little longer than expected, but overall would recommend for a night out.
Great food and drinks!!! Service was amazing by Rosemary! We’ve been in town since Monday and this was by far the best meal I’ve had so far!!!!
We at dinner here right before a scheduled show at the Caroline Opry. We'd been delayed getting to the restaurant due to a car wreck, so we didn't have as long to eat dinner as we'd hoped before needing to arrive at the Caroline Opry. When we arrived, we told the hostess we were hoping to catch a show at the Opry and she apparently put in the word to the kitchen/wait staff. Our server was extremely efficient and our meal was delivered amazingly fast. It was excellent! I got the Carolina Grouper with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was just what my taste buds had been craving! From the time we were seated, until we'd been served our food and finished up, we were only there 35 minutes! AMAZING!
We were quickly seated. Kelly, our server was attentive & made wonderful recommendations! Food was plentiful & delicious. Wife even left room for a big slice of homemade cheese cake. Would certainly recommend & return! Very competitively priced!
