Best of Philly on Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach is a great place to go for delicious sandwiches when you are hungry and need something good. I really like their menu and everything that they have available here. Good experience every time I have been here and excellent customer service.
I have been coming to Myrtle Beach for years and seeing this little place called the Best of Philly. I’ve always wondered what the food was like but I never stopped by. So today I thought I’d try one of the Philly cheesesteaks. I got one and took it back to the others I with to try it. We all thought was really really good ! That night we ordered Philly cheese cheesesteaks because it was so really good. When I went back that night , I met one of the individuals working there named San. He was so pleased that I liked the Philly Cheesesteak. I told him I would do a review as other may be passing by as I have and wondering if it is good. So don’t pass it by anymore!!! It is really good!
Watched one of the cooks spit on someone's bun. Disgusting! The owner proceeded to yell after requesting a refund stating we don't pretend here.
Man, this place is fantastic. No frills, just really good food. Cheesesteak is delicious and huge, gyro is amazing. Love cheese fries with a sauce instead of shredded cheese. Only problem was not coming here sooner.
Tried this place a few weeks ago while on vacation and had a mixed experience. My husband went to order and pickup and they left out my entire meal. I went back to get it and kind of wished I wouldn’t have. The chicken philly was really dry and hard to chew. It didn’t taste great either. My husbands steak philly and the fries were amazing. I will probably try again our next visit but get steak instead and check our order before leaving.

My first time here I thought it was very pricey then I got my food and was blown away. You most definitely get what you pay for. The food was fantastic my family and I loved it. And they have real gyros witch made me the happiest women ever.
If you want a great Philly (steak OR chicken) this should definitely be the grand stand choice. The San which was cooked to perfection with that perfect crunch from a lightly toasted bun. The combination of Ingredients was consistent throughout the sandwich and the added bonus of getting onion rings made a perfect meal.
People are nice and service is quick but portions are just ok and flavors decent. We didn't have the choice on thanksgiving day but i would think other days there would be better choices on the strip
By far the best Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches at the beach. Made to order and with plenty of steak and cheese. Really good cold subs too made with Boars Head meats. A tru hidden gem.
