Bangkok House on Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach is a great place to go for delicious Thai food that is delicious, fresh, and flavorful. Everything here is very well prepared and worth the visit. The staff here is very welcoming and does their best to make sure that you are well taken care of.

This place is incredible. We got the som tam (papaya salad), Tom kha (coconut soup), green curry, and pork larb. They had huge servings and super friendly service. We loved it!

Their food here is really good. I had the pumpkin curry, and it was phenomenal! The massaman curry was nice and spicy, and my daughters pad thai was also really good. The service was quick, and we were served after only a short wait.We will be returning.

I ordered a pad Thai and it was very good though we went past 3pm and they are closed they still accommodated us. We were very hungry and food was given.

Great service food was delicious ?

Been all thru the east n west coast, this is hands-down still some of my absolute favorite Thai food of all time amazing flavor, depth and complexity!

Never coming back here again. 6 years ago, I used to go here religiously. The food was great and they had this really nice black lady as a waitress. Fast-forward 2021, I decided to come here for lunch. Old waitress was gone and replaced by a Asian lady but no problem. I came for the food. Service was perfunctory and dismissive. Okay. I try to ignore that. But then I notice that the same waitress is very friendly and talkative to other customers. Meanwhile, she rushes me aggressively when I try to ask questions about certain items on the menu. She quickly delivers my food and never shows up again. Not even for the bill. Mind you, I'm seated right in front of the table she uses to relax at. No one else is treated this way. She laughs, jokes, and frequently check in on evey table but mine. This makes me uncomfortable, but I still leave a tip. So, I visited again today. Same dismissive treatment while gushing to other customers. I'm used to it, so I just ordered my meal and started eating. As I was eating, I flipped over my noodles and there was a ROACH marinaded in soy sauce. I told the waitress, got up and left. Never again. There are 3 other Thai restaurants within the vicinity. There is no need to put up with a establishment that treats you like a subhuman when you have so many choices. I only wish I'd said something to the other patrons so that they also wouldn't go back here. I originally planned to not do a review, but my friend(who is a chef) felt that I should. I also felt that the positioning of the bug seemed purposeful. I'm not so sure. But the more I think about my strange treatment, the more I feel that may have been the case. Not sure what made me such an undesirable customer. However, I don't feel other people should take any chances. Who knows if you'll get ill treated by this restaurant for being displeasing in their eyes. I attached pictures for reference.

Some of the best Thai I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Pad Thai! Thai Hot is the way to go

The food was great. I had the fried red snapper and it was delicious. My husband had the green curry and he said that it was really good. We both left with full bellies. We will definitely come back again when in S.C.

If you want Thai food that makes you feel like you're at your Thai grandma's house and not mainstream Thai food, then this is the place. The wait staff are accommodating and kind, and all the food that comes out of the kitchen is pure comfort. You can NEVER go wrong with any on their menu, it's all AMAZING! Dare to try new things!
