The best thing about this resturant was the servers and the atmosphere. The servers were extremely friendly. The resturant is in small strip mall. We ordered filet mignon skewers as an appetizer. It was a delicious. I ordered the salmon and I thought it was a small portion and dry. My wife ordered lobster Mac and cheese. It was good but a small dish for the price. We will not be going back

Our waitress was very attentive and helpful for navigating the menu to suggest gluten free options. My son thoroughly enjoyed his miso mussels. My husband enjoyed the chicken dish. Ambience was quit and comfortable, which was an added bonus in a popular beach resort.

As Myrtle Beach locals we are always looking for fine dining establishments to celebrate our family special occasions. There are a few, but honestly I can count them on one hand. 42nd Street Bar & Grill is, by far, the best of the best for fine dining in this area. Don't let the location fool you. Once you step foot inside this gem of a restaurant you're in for a truly memorable experience. The food is outstanding. Appetizers, Main Course and Dessert all delivered beyond our expectations. I tasted the fried calamari ordered by one of my co-diners and, speaking as someone who doesn't particularly care for calamari but tries it so friends and family will let me get on with my own meal, found it to be the best I've ever tasted-anywhere. I will actually order it myself next time I'm there. Beet salad, tuna tataki, Rib Eye steak, Scallops w/white beans, Osso Bucco, chocolate cake, lemon cake and salted caramel cheesecake were all DELICIOUS. Cameron, our server was knowledgeable, personable and efficient. What a wonderful experience we had.
