We enjoyed a wonderful evening at 1229 Shine! The food and atmosphere was great. We will be back! Our Server, Kelly was great and laughed along with us!
We went there recently I was on vacation with my friends and though the food was good the server was very unfriendly it was almost like she was being forced to have to work instead of enjoying her work I believe her name was Brooke not a people person for sure! The evening before we ate at Travinia and it was a perfect place with a wonderful server and you could tell they really enjoyed us being there!
I usually go during the weekdays for happy hour. I love taking my friends there and getting one of everything from the happy hour menu because everything is so cheap, but still delicious with good sized portions! The atmosphere is beautiful, service is excellent, drinks are on point. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The picture only shows half of what we got! The food just kept on coming. This place will not disappoint you!
I’m on my way home from 1229 Shine right now, and when I tell you… everything was PHENOMENAL. The Bang Bang Grouper bites will go down in history as the best food I’ve ever had. Max was our server, and he had such a mellow personality, was easy to get along with, and made the experience even better. The prices were amazing for the quality of the food, and not high at all!! I’ve never left a review before if that proves just how good this restaurant was :)
What an incredible experience, food and service. Our waiter was extremely friendly and funny! We are on vacation from Ohio celebrating my retirement from the Education Field, our first family vacation and spending special time with our grandchildren. My daughter was researching the internet looking for places to eat. This was chosen because she read a famous chef dined there and left great reviews. She is a huge fan of the food network! We chatted with 4 very sweet ladies and truly enjoyed in atmosphere. Clean, quiet and incredible. Very very cozy. We can’t brag enough! Definitely making this one of our stopping points for the years to come. We are looking forward to next year!!!!Incredible A+++++++++ Restaurant!!!!!!!

I went with a few friends for our first visit to this relatively new restaurant. We ordered a boatload of food. The food was so good that none of us could pick a favorite dish. While seafood is the predominant protein here, there are numerous offerings to please non-seafood tastes. The grouper bites were deep fried little balls of perfection. They were coated in an Asian sauce that was a delightful blend of sweet and a background note of heat. Think "bang-bang" style sauce.We also shared a poke. This is a marinated seafood mix. I wouldn't call it raw as the marinade "cooks" the fish. I would call it wonderful. Their deviled eggs are special too. Chunks of lobster meat adorn the top of the eggs.. In a word--- YUM!The meal concluded with a fried shrimp bowl and a fried shrimp Po boy. They were replete with large shrimp cooked to a perfect golden brown.Attention to detail was apparent. Even their mahogany tables had banded inlay. There was ample parking, the place was immaculately maintained, the service fast and friendly.This is easily the best new restaurant I've ever been to. They're not cheap, but I think you get your money's worth and then some. In a word.......WOW'
Was fabulous. Just heard about this place so we decided to check it out. We had several apps and cocktails. The service and food was great. Very nice clean place.
This is a hidden gem in Market Common. We went for dinner on a Friday night. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful with all the blues hues.We ordered the edamame falafel which were some of the tastiest falafel I've ever had. I loved how light and fluffy they were.We also ordered the fried calamari. It was a huge plate and could easily be shared by 4 people. It was absolutely delicious.I had the spicy margarita to drink. It had such a great kick I ended up getting two! Don't order if you don't like spice though.Our waitress informed us that they are working on expanding their outsude seating and will have live entertainment some nights during the summer. We can't wait to go back!
Had a wonderful experience. The decor is beautiful. The Bang Bang grouper bites were delicious, the sauce is fantastic with the cilantro. Had oysters for the first time and decided to try them Rockefellered. They were nice and smokey, I liked the bacon on them very tasty. Coconut shrimp didn't disappoint and my husband said he could drink the cilantro Thai chili sauce. Hushpuppies with the hint of jalapeño were very lite not heavy, very good also. We decided to try the dessert and had the Key lime pie it was silky and flavorful. Jocelyn and Lee our bartenders were attentive and helpful. Cocktails were amazing.
