From day one the atmosphere was great and the community is so friendly. Beautiful view just a all around amazing place. Definitely we will be back again.
Captain Alex was awesome, worked very hard to put us on fish and we caught some! Then my 16yr old son hooked onto a Sailfish and Captain Alex made sure to coach my son how to bring it in while fighting it for 40minutes!! All 3 of us were so excited! Cant wait to book with Captain Alex again! Lifetime memory he gave us!!
First, i dont usually write reviews but this needs to be seen and read!! Had a Aug 17 Tues morning 4hr Inshore booked but awoke to severe storms, cannot thank Captain Alex enough for the great communication through text on cancelling or re-schedule! Told him my 16yr old son and I were available that Fri. morning if we re-schedule and we did with Captain Alex! Arrived on time to clean boat, he gave a safety speech about the boat, then we were promptly off! Very calm day we headed 10 miles out and started quickly fishing! We each caught a Spanish Mackerel but then best came shortly after Alex tried another trick which other Captains made fun of him over the CB radio( they talk alot and help each other, which i like) my son hooked onto a 40lb Sailfish, 40m fight to get to boat, other boats were amazed and radio chatter was insane! What a beautiful fish, which Captain Alex took the care to leave in water as he held it for some pics, another boat came and took some pics which i received from Alex, who was also very excited, customers on other charters didnt look very happy as they weren’t catching much if mot anything! Captain Alex did ask if we wanted to stay or head to inlets for smaller Redfish, we wanted to stay for bigger fish! We did catch 3 more Mackerels which Alex worked hard finding! Cant wait to book again next year with Captain Alex, probably a longer trip also!

We went for a half day inshore fishing with my 2 boys and my father in law and we had a very good and fun time. Fish was not biting much but Alex the captain took us everywhere making sure we go home with fish and we did. We will go back soon. Thank you Alex.
Took my 2 teen boys for a half day inshore charter. The bite was clearly slow that day but captain Alex stayed positive and worked all the angles. Eventually we got flounder, black sea bass, and blacktip share. Clean fast boat and Alex was fun and knowledgeable.
Best Marina and Charters around!
Not a terrible place to dock your boat but nothing on their website is true. They do NOT have bathrooms or showers, no WiFi access, there are not gates that were secure, the slips are definitely not renovated and they do not have a restaurant. There is one beside the marina that is good but I was told they have nothing to do with the marina. They are doing renovations that if you stay Monday-Friday you will hear all day long so maybe they will eventually have these things. I would not have cared so much if they would have told me that when I made the reservation so I would know what to expect. However, my biggest complaint was that when my husband and I left in our boat for the afternoon they gave someone our slip and when we got back they just told us to dock in front of the gas pumps. Needless to say that night everytime someone fueled up that was all we smelled for hours even though our boat was closed up. The next morning was worse though since all the fishing boats fueled up before they left for the day so we both woke up with terrible headaches. We decided to leave early since nothing was going well and the owners of the marina didn't care at all. Next time we will find another marina.
My 8 year old son and I did a half day trip with Captain Alex on the Carolina Fly. We had a great time. Trolling near shore we caught 5 fish including a Cobia, a King Mackerel, and 3 sharks. Captain Alex had some water on board for us and he always made sure we were comfortable. He filleted the mackerel into steaks for us. I have no complaints. I would do it again tomorrow.
