So good, even the locals prefer it! The flounder and shrimp were lightly fried to perfection. The dill ranch sauce and the slightly spicy remoulade were excellent! The potatoes on the side were nice and crispy and even when I couldn't finish them, my 8 year old helped me devour them the next day. Even as a not-so-crispy day old leftover, she thought they were bangin'!There's plenty of seating to be had at this food truck. A couple of picnic tables stand right next to the truck or you can try the larger, shaded bar area just a few more steps away.We will likely be back in the area in the next year or two and will try and convince other family members to try it out!
Fresh and delicious Coconut Shrimp, Flounder, & Hand-cut fries! Sit back, relax, sip on a Non-alcoholic Butterscotch Cream Soda Beer, and patiently wait for your made to order, seafood with a smile! Going to make this a tradition??
So I was told I had the weirdest order she’s ever taken. We were doing our own seafood but needed hush puppies. Our go to place said their “hush puppy maker” was broken?!?! . So we googled and found The Fish Shack. Best puppies ever. Next time in town we’lll try the fish. Awesome service.
Coconut shrimp, flounder, & hush puppies were amazing. Fam of 5 spent $105 w/o drinks. Chips were good but 1-2 sides is plenty. I’d rate it 4 stars for the food, 1-2 stars for cost and location.
I ordered the trio combo. It included Fried Flounder Filet, 6 Fried Grouper Fingers and 6 Jumbo Shrimp and Fried potato slices. She kept the shrimp seperate because of my husband's shellfish allergy. She took pride in taking food allergy serious. We really appreciated that. Everything was fried to perfection and hot. The Dill Ranch Sauce is so good. We will be back.
They had their food truck at an event I was at and I can't say enough good things about their fish. I had the flounder basket and I swear that fish was swimming yesterday! It was amazing! It was lightly breaded so that the highlight was the amazing fish. The fresh cut potatoes chips are a win as well for me. I was surprised about the amount of food in the basket too. I will definitely be visiting their place in Murrells Inlet and bringing my family. You have to stop by this place and try them out.
We tried this shak near rows of nice restaurants along the Marshwalk in Myrtle Inlet. We were looking for newly-catch seafoods but none. So made a stop on this shak based on reviews. We ordered crab bisque, which was light in terms of consistency, less flavored, more of butter, not like the ones that you ordered in nice places. The triple fried combo of flounder, shrimp potato chips were a little salty. But, the owner said that it was the pre-mixed batter. Foods were overpriced given the setting. What would you expect from a little food shak, survival is the key point here. But, being local, expected a little hole in the wall. But, it didn’t give us the expectation that we’re looking for.

Great potato and batter shack. They should rename it as The Potato Shack. 80% of the portion consists of fries ,sushi thin fish consists mostly of batter. Never again. And yes, I am posting for the right place, and you remember me very well. Liar and scammer.
Stopped by the fish shak while visiting from out of town. Amazing food! Had the shrimp tacos with the homemade sauce, incredible! Lightly battered with big portions!
