Well worth the trip! My husband & I were looking for a comfortable place to enjoy some seafood. The buttered lobster roll was AMAZING & the Crab Cake sandwich was DELICIOUS! Our server was so attentive. We will definitely go back.
The food here is really great. I got the lobster sandwich which was extremely delicious. My guests also got the seafood platters and crab boil and they also said they were really good. If you are on Murrells Inlet and like sea food this is definitely a need to visit place. Its also a part of the inlet and has a great view. The parking situation is a little wild on the other hand.
Great place for you to enjoy and satisfy your seafood cravings. My family and I were enjoying the Myrtle Beach area for vacation. Wanted to get some fried clams. was going to go to Sara J but was not open till 4pm. With teenagers and a 6 year old you want to find somewhere comfortable. We did at the Claw House. It SATIFIED our want for Fried Clams and the service was great. Family friendly and able to accommodate large groups. We had the Fried Clams starter x 2 for everyone. Some had the Shrimp Platter. My daughter in law has a peanut allergy. They do not cook any products with it. She had the Haddock sandwich she said was delicious. Hubby had the Lobster Roll Sandwich. I had the Fried Clams (best Value for your money) and the Strawberry Fields Salad with fresh Strawberries, Gorgonzola Cheese and Pecans topped with Poppyseed Dressing. Part of mine had to take with because of the amount of food. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the Myrtle Beach Area.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here! I went for dinner on a Saturday at 5:30 and there was no wait time. The food was delicious (We enjoyed the crab cakes & salmon) and it came out super quick. They have a raw bar and I would highly recommend the peel n eat shrimp. The restaurant is on the water so you can walk around when you're done!
Portions are small unless you get the nachos. Great ambient in or out. We sat outside but can hear competing music with the restaurant next door. Fish and chips has too much batter. The surf and turf was ok and pricey. Sauces were excellent. A bit on an upscale dining. If you want live music, go somewhere else. They don't validate parking!
The views are amazing! The food is even better. We had the short ribs, salmon and crab stack. The short ribs were, hands down, the best thing we've eaten so far on our trip.
We visited on a Tuesday afternoon. Parking lot was full but they were not busy. Our server, Chris, was wonderful. The food was delicious. The view was amazing. We visited while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. We’ll be aback if we’re ever here again!
My cousin and I ate here for a girl's night out. We had the fried calamari for out appetizer. It was nice and crisp and the calamari was tender. I had the grouper stack and ate every bite. The grouper was properly cooked and the crab cake was delicious. The only criticism is the wine list could stand a few more choices. Our waiter was a delightful and fun young man.
Had the fisherman’s platter grilled. It came with 5 scallops, 11 shrimp and a fillet of flounder. Side of coleslaw and another side of your choice. The flounder seemed over done, but the shrimp and scallops were very good. Restaurant was clean, staff friendly, food was prompt, wait staff attentive. It made our list.
The Crab Nachos are the absolute best thing ever! Worth every penny! Make sure you have minimum of 2 people. Could actually be a meal for 2 people. Delicious! Very large!!! We sat outside in the little beer garden area, overlooking the bay kind of on the dock. Visiting from louisiana and i will definitely come back here on my next visit!
