My wife and I are confirmed "foodies" and found Inlet Seafood 30 years ago on our annual visit to Huntington Beach State Park. We travel extensively and have always considered Rick's quality and selection to be top notch. We get great stuff there and I love talking to my buddy Rick each year to catch up on life. Bought Blue CrabsThey were lively and fresh. Steamed them for a perfect July 4th treat. Large meaty crabs. Murrells Inlet Seafood didn't dissapoint!
Small locally owned seafood market. We got fish, shrimp, and oysters. Plus they had the necessary accompaniments for their fresh seafood too. Knowledgeable staff and good prices. We definitely would go back when we’re in the area.
I am writing a rebuttal to a review seen below about crabcakes and this business "going downhill". First I am the founder of this company. Second we make several small batches (35 to the batch) of fresh jumbo lump crabcakes daily - and sell them very quickly. We average one complaint for every 5,000 sold. We have been voted #1 Seafood Store and #1 Caterer eight years in a row, by four different newspaper polls. Nuff said.
I moved here December 1st and I’ve been looking for a seafood market since I’ve been here without much success. Then I found Murrells inlet seafood and they have great selections of fresh fish, crab cakes, lobster and anything you can think of. It was a true pleasure with the helpful and friendly staff. I can’t wait to go back.

Purchased crab cakes at $12/each for Thanksgiving a day in advance and were assured they would be fine. When we went to cook them, they smelled so bad that we just had to throw them away. $60 in the trash. This place used to be great, has gone way downhill.
We always stop her on our way back from vacation. Always have great fresh seafood to take home?
