So it use to be seafood which most all restaurants down in Murrels are. They switched over to Cuban. I'll say this much they're service is still great, the cleanliness is still great however Cuban they're not I know because Im born and raised from Mexico and my brother in-law and his family are from Cuba. So it's not Cuban. Hence 3 stars for the food. They own Wicked Tuna so same deal it's seafood tho
Today was my second time here And Michael made it my best experience ever!!!! I will definitely be back. The food was amazing, his customer service was impeccable and the atmosphere was incredible. Thank you Michael for being so attentive, professional and making us feel like special guest. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. See you soon.
I am always on the search for the best shrimp tacos and I found them! So good I came here twice on my one week vacation! Both times were great experiences. Beautiful scenery. Both my waitresses were so friendly and sweet. The fish and chips were also great along with the kids chicken tender meals. The blueberry cheesecake and chocolate kids dessert was outstanding. The bathrooms were cute and clean (yes I loved the sink and decorations). The kids had a blast on the pirate ship and play area. I can't believe they had any bad reviews.. I can't wait to return!
Tried Mojos while at Murrells Inlet and it did not disappoint. Our server Rivers was helpful with suggestions of things to try and was very attentive. Loved sitting outside on the water, nice views, friendly atmosphere. The Mojitos were outstanding, and so many flavors to chose from. Had the fried green tomatoes, street corn, and empanadas. Portions and quality were both great! The only negative was they were out of chicken taquitos, maybe next time.
We had blackened fish tacos and then one of their delicious desserts. Service was really great and the view our over the water was so nice.
I am defenately not one to make bad reviews. I would rather talk to A MANAGER, but that does not work at Mojo's. See, the "manager(s)" don't care for your business, or value customers at all whatsoever!! We (party of 11) Moms, Dads, Kids, and grandma were treated like trash. Appetizers and no soft drinks, bottle of wine advertized 1/2 off was a lie and gave us plastic cups to drink it out of, food barely luke warm at best, no lemons, and NO TOGO BOXES for leftovers! I ate my salad and was having to take my food home to microwave! When we asked for boxes the server brings a bunch of tiny boxes that i couldn't fit one piece of corn in.! That was the most pleasant part of our welcoming dinner at Mojo's. We asked to speak with the "manager", they must have sent out the dishwasher instead because this was no manager. She had bad attitude never apologized and was actually offended that we had even complained!! She then left us and said she would be right back ....... 15 minutes later (we are ready to end this disappointing experience) she must have sent the janitor "manager" out to give is two $25 gift cards. We were ready to pay the bill and I asked for the bottle of wine to be 1/2 priced as advertised, and the janitor bucked up at me like she was going to chest bump me!!! With a deep loud voice saying that they only offer 1/2 priced bottles of wine at the bar. I said that is not what our ticket says, it says from 4-6 that's it! She then stormed off into the server station after snatching the ticket out of my hand!!! At this point I am ready to get my kids in the car and leave. I walked to the server station where she was dramatically talking to the dishwasher as well as the 3rd "manager" mabe security bouncer idk. They all three screamed at me and called the COPS!! I am the one that got ROBBED! Then to show how much they care about customer satisfaction, they TOOK BACK the GIFT CARDS!!! I have never seen such unprofessional people in my life!! Good help and people that care about their job is hard to find these days. Shake my head.The owners really need to reconsider who, or should I say what, is ruining their business!!!
Atmosphere is a 10/10. The service, quality of your experience will not match up with the beautiful views. The bathroom was filthy, overflowing trash, decal mattered toilets (2/3 were in useable) no paper towels or soap. I mentioned It to the staff that the womens room needed to be tended to for various reasons. We’ll 45 minutes later nothing was checked on or accomplished. The menu is fairly small in my opinion & no changes are allowed (ex pork quesadilla - cannot be changed to a chicken quesadilla although pulled chicken tacos are an option) no big deal. But the server was very inexperienced & had difficulties with almost every order. Also no big deal. But this was our third time at this restaurant and will finally be our last time due to poor service everytime. Low quality food & cleanliness of the restroom on 2/3 or 3/3 times here. In the off season along with the busy summer months. Disappointed bc the potential is great.
