I was having a very frustrating day. It was recommended I have lunch and come back to the place of business at 3 pm. I found this restaurant and tried it. From the moment I entered, the staff was so nice. My waiter listened to my drama and recommended a drink. I had a drink, a wonderful meal of shrimp and so much fun, my troubles seemed minor. After a great meal, great comradery, I went back and finished my business. I will definitely recommend and come back. Try it, you will enjoy.
Great food, great service, great view. I came here with my family and friends and it was amazing. There is a wonderful view of “Goat Island”. This food is probably the best in Murrel’s! (sorry if i spelt that wrong lol)
Incredibly nice and friendly staff. Southern hospitality at its finest. Good views and nice food with sweet tea. Food was very filling and a good portion.
After what seemed to be a slow start things turned into a great dinner and drinks with friends. Food was excellent, server was excellent. As part of the Marshwalk, J. Peters is worth your time and money. Enjoyed it very much.
We went with another couple, we all had appetizers drinks for dinners and dessert. When the bill came we couldn't believe the total. It was not expensive at all and very economical. The food was good the waitress was very friendly and we had a nice seat by the window to look out onto the water. We will definitely be going back.
Very disappointed. Quesadilla very dry, got house salad and potato soup. Salad was brown on edges and hot bacon dressing seemed watered down. Soup stayed with all night., won’t be back

Visited the restaurant while on vacation. I ordered the chicken and bacon quesadilla, with a side of fries. The food was very delicious and freshly prepared. I could tell it wasn’t just something warmed up in the oven or microwave. The staff was friendly and attentive. Nidia was our server. She was very welcoming and recommended a great drink that I enjoyed. The food was so good, I came back the next day and ordered the same thing. I would definitely recommend.
We were thoroughly underwhelmed by this place. The service was on the slow side and the food was mediocre at best. We ordered a salad with ahi on it and we didn’t like it at all. We told the waiter who pretty much said after you have a bite tough on you! Really, tough on you because you’ll never see us again. $60 for two salads we didn’t eat and two soft drinks! Crazy
After a boat trip to watch for dolphins we decided to try this place. Super friendly staff and the food was the best! Filet was done to perfection and overall the best we’ve eaten.
